GETTING A JOB

P.S Am in Victoria( things might not be the same as other states but there is no harm in trying)

Hello, good day, I am a Frontend engineer that wanna move to Australia after this covid-19 palaver, I found this in the skill migrant section which implies that I am eligible.

Web Developer 261212 STSOL
190, 407, 491 (S/T), TSS
(S), 494 ACS

How much would it cost me to move out without a job sponsorship from Australia?

Thanks.

Hi, i'm not an expertise in this unfortunately. Try to ask this in the immigrant thread, you'll get what you want.

Thanks.

Is there such thing as people getting jobs in Australia through agents? A travel and tours company requested that my brother pay them 2m to help in get a job there. An initial deposit of 500k is to be made. The remaining balance to be paid when the Visa is out. Loosing 500k could mean a lot and I want to verify their claims before letting go of the sum. Please kindly confirm if there is any genuine thing of this nature.
Did your brother later travel? Pls share the experience I’m in your shoe

The earlier you retrieve your money the better, you have been scam. There's nothing like job offer for people that are offshore without due process and the chances are rare, no wonder your previous questions are incoherent.

Hello all...thanks for all the tips. Any special advice for those who have their visas but did not make in into Australia before border closed. What are those things you would recommend one can use the intervening period to plan for since it is very much unclear when the border will open?
Polite reminder about this query. In case there are some thoughts,

1. Use a reputable and renowned agent. I used BCIE ikeja branch and it worked.

2. Read this thread from 1 till the end. It will help you.

Good luck.

Hello everyone
Please is there anyone who travelled to Aussie for studies with a child? How stressful was/is it for you? I have applied for MSc and the agent said I must go alone and arrange for my child’s joining in 3-6months of arrival so that they wouldn’t suspect I want to go there to live not to only study.
1. Do you think I can travel with my child? Shes just 3
2. Reaching there might be stressful as a newbie; accommodation, orientation and stuff; will I get an affordable daycare in the Uni or neighborhood?
If yes how expensive and or hard to get can that be?
3. Thank you

Forgot to add; any doctor in the house?
How difficult is it to secure a job as a Dr.
What may be the options?

I think the student's thread would be more helpful.
However keep in mind that some schools requires the use of agent so be prepared for that.

I wouldn't recommend taking the course if you're not here cos it'll be expensive.
I've seen a course that cost more than $8k to take offshore.

Your work rights should be stated on your visa.
Or your can do a google search on the subclass work rights
