Why not?

After all , our leaders even already
prepared polling results before election day
or sort election tribunal judges as a
Plan B.

We must learn & copy the doings of
our elders.

As far back as ten years ago, I knew lots of schools like this, they call it "special centres". You only need a pencil and to show up, to pass any exam as far as you pay. Even inspectors from waec are given their share and they turn a blind eye. And these trends continue to universities and beyond.

You wonder why the average IQ of the nation stands below 70, and that's me being generous. Those candidates are the one that will change Nigeria? Lol

When students cheat, it's always easier for the examiner, once u carefully marked the first 20 or 30 scripts. As an Examiner, I have not been given any parcel from other state EXCEPT IMO, I'm patiently waiting again this year, they will c wehn! I shall be strict

Who will help Nigeria? When will Nigeria be able to stand respected as a country amongst other countries? When will Nigeria have leaders who care about the country more than their pockets? When!! oh when?

When things like this can be punished by jail terms.
Where students are taught therefore will have no need to cheat.
Where teachers are well trained and well paid.

That time will never come. I am not a pessimist for making such an assertion, but stating the obvious fact.

All aspects of the Nigerian state are essentially corrupted and becoming increasingly materialistic. One reason is the collapse of the value system, which has led to the preponderance of the culture of materialism over morals, resetting the society to a toxic Machiavellian state.

No wonder, all things, including education, politics and religion, are seen as means to the good life (materialism) and when the good life isn't coming, you hear despicable clauses like "school na scam" or the "chop your own national cake" and "everybody na thief" mantras in politics and religion.

We need a revolution, not just a political one, but in most aspects of our societal architecture.
we are shit and we attract the worst of humans globally, the terrible businessmen

I will believe that it will. Ghana was very bad and then things began to change.
Nigeria will reach a turning point too.

This has been the culture for about two decades now all over Nigeria. The exceptions are very few. If you don't pay, the invigilators will minute on your paper that you cheated and your result will be seized. But it should be stopped if our education must have a future. Besides, most parents can't afford such money. The way to stop it is for the ministry of education to give a number you can call if you are forced to pay that money.

this happens, and it's so sad.

at the school I served in Enugu, the teacher in charge of SS3 had the students pay 1,500 Naira for core subjects like math, English, chemistry, physics and literature while they pay 800 Naira for other subjects.

students from other schools come to write their WAEC there because of the practice.

it was so bad that when I helped one of the students to pay their WAEC fees, they came to meet on one occasion for the 800 bribe they'd give the teacher for the CRK paper. I was livid.

everything in this damn country is in deep rot.
