I am a bonafide Christian and if I could have my way, religious worship bodies, especially the very big ones, will be taxed and audited.

Three very strategic moves have been made by this government in the last 3 months or so; moves aimed to surpress the people's voice and pave way for their eventual plan. People like you will not see the evil in all these until it hits you right in the face:

1.) The de-registration of socio-cultural organisations like oduduwa, ohaneze, etc

2.) The attempts to clamp down on the media using policies on hate speech.

3.) This new CAMA policy in an attempt to control the church, and other NGOs.

The people making the contributions are not complaining. Leave the church alone.

Mosques are easy to control ..no one owns it ...unlike churches ....

I idea is simple churches money or tax can only be used in it's locality 70% ...which means 70% of the revenue of tax gotten from and NGO would be used in the locality ..or state

Its seems like a propaganda that laddened with some facts. The actions of these northerners should not be treated with levity. They have succeeded in passing the law which is sacrosanct, it is left for the church to devise a means of check mating their actions by not failing prey to their devices.

Is Nigeria more developed than Rome? The entire essence of vatican city is built around religion.

though it is your opinion but you can't do anything on it .It is not the fault of the government but the religions Leaders that left the preach of gospel but preach of wealth and expensive lifestyles that exposed them to the public .
