Now that Lagos as a final destination for our imports is no longer attractive to the shipping companies, Igbo importers and freight forwarders should hold a meeting and unanimously use Onitsha and Onne as our ports of delivery!

River Niger can only handle barges now because it's not dredge they will first barth in major ports Onne or Apapa then transload to barges to Onitsha for now until the River is fully dredge, I told you guys before that River Niger is international waterways, dredging it now Nigeria government will see it as waste because there are other ports close to the sea, dredging of River can only be possible when Nigeria is restructured or the nation cease to exist, same River Niger is northern major river not just Southeast, east is more close to the Ocean than north through River Niger and Imo River
