This is one of the saddest charades you can ever think of. When our toothless legislators conduct these probes and individuals that have obviously committed crimes by stealing public funds are exposed - it ends there at the chambers of the national assembly. No accountability, no follow up, no consequence for the criminals whatsoever. The spineless cowards at the judiciary are not even involved in anyway during all of these. They are controlled and shut out by the executive. They don't even realize or recognise that they have equal powers as the executive and legislature and that they could be the only hope for a hopeless country as ours. The criminal director Mohammed Yakubu and his cohorts will never pay for the crimes. This is the shame of Nigeria. |

The legislators are not doing the job properly. Just as they have the powers to appropriate funds to govt agencies, they also have the powers to monitor how the funds are been spent. So real question should be why do they allow monies to be misappropriated by govt agencies before probing? |

This Senate is really impressing me with their probing and findings. I really wish it's not just for show where everything will later be swept under the carpet as usual. |
