Which one is sponsor's form? If that is Annex 32 you are talking about, it is the sponsor who has to legalised that and not you. Be careful with the information that you give bcus this Annex 32 of thing is very complicated and is crucial as far as visa application is concern. In his case he is using block account and no need to legalize that.

Okay.
Thank you for the timely information.
Actually I have whatsapp group for Belgium scholars alone.
You are not to legalized your sponsor's form that is Annex 32 by yourself but by your sponsor.
However you will apply for legalization of your annex 32, you can go with your sponsor to the embassy and do it with him or her. Just ensure you book the appointment ahead for your sponsor if they are in Nigeria because most of them might not have time to book the appointment.
PS: I am speaking from the experience I gathered from those who passed through the process and I have my visa approved already, so I see no reason to mislead you.

Let me leave the rest to my boss @konja44
He will do justice to rest.
I will be off from this group for now.
Wish you success in your application.

@konja44
How Belgium, I hope you are enjoying the place. . Can't wait to see you.
Cheers

Hello,
Please, can someone forward me the checklist for documents that need to legalized for someone making use of a blocked account?

I got admission into the BBM program at Odisee university college, is there any other person that has gotten admission here?

I’m very overwhelmed with the whole process. Please if there’s a whatsapp group i can be added to, it will be very much appreciated.

Thanks

Hi
There is Belgium study visa checklist. You can find it on VFS website, or you send me a message I'll give you a copy. Make sure you get everything on the checklist and you will be set to apply for a study visa.

Read back to the last 2 or 3 pages, you will find a lot of information about legalization and other things.

Good luck

Tuition fees in Belgium vary between schools and courses. The average range is €4000 ‐ 10000. You can also get scholarships OR get tuition fee discounts from the school/faculty.

As for the blocked account, this also depends on your school. Because different schools have various amounts they expect you to block, ranging from €700 -1000 per month for 12 months.

So the 6M should be able to cover you if you get schools that are a bit cheaper. Also keep an eye on the naira/euro exchange rate so you can be better prepared.

Unfortunately they don't have any permits for you to stay back after your program to look for a job. As the study permit expires you have to leave.

But you can search for job offers during your last year and if you receive one, a work permit will be processed OR continue with a PhD.
I heard that's very difficult cos ur employer will have to show that there is not a qualified Belgian and member from within the EU to fill that spot.

But anyway, I have a question ...pls anyone can answer.
What if after one year studying for a masters in Belgium, I decide to forgo the Masters by applying for another program in Germany, will I have to apply for a German student visa from Belgium
I am asking cos I know according to their regulations, EU students are exempted from applying for German student visas..
I want to find out if this applies to me since I am already studying in Belgium??...

Permit to say that i do not think there's a need for a whatsapp group for prospective students. Every conversation should be discussed here so new people like you can learn.

They don't really have a minimum CGPA, just apply and your application is assessed on an individual basis

Hello Gurus in the house
I made an application to KU Leuven already and I have gone through the whole thread from page 1 but I'm a bit confused about the Annex 32.
My sponsor is not a salary earner but a business Man, does that mean the embassy won't accept him?
Expecting an answer soon.
Re: Anyone Studying In Belgium? by DeeKeem(f): 3:05pm On Nov 08, 2020
You can use someone with a business. Just know that the documentation presented to the embassy will be different.
