Lead the government to take over na. Yhu miscreants and blind bats who can't fight for yhur right and stand against yhur useless government milking yhu dry of yhur resources.

Yhu want them to start controlling the affairs of the church when they haven't been able to even control their own affair effectively.

Maybe yhu should invite the government to come and be controlling yhu and yhur family. The government should tell yhu how yhu and yhur parents run the activities in yhur family since yhu and yhur parents are in Nigeria.

Big fool!
Correct surported

Primate Babatunde Elijah Ayodele has
categorically stated that nobody can take over his church in the wake of the recently amended Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA).

In an exclusive interview with Legit tv, the fiery preacher noted that he built the church with his sweat and labor of many years, therefore, nobody can dictate to him how to run the affairs of his denomination.

The Founder of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church also condemned Christian Association leaders for allowing themselves to be used by the government to promulgate such.
Hmmm it is now your churchhuh

Is it his church?

Our Lord Jesus Christ is the owner and Head of the church...no human being should appropriate any church to their names and that of their family members....

We own nothing...

We can't do anything on our own..

Everything that's and there's and that would be belong to God our father and maker
if we look closely.. He's right. The church building belongs to him, since he built it from scratch. But you see the saved souls all over the world, i mean the ones who have been washed by the blood of the lamb and are living righteously and godly in this present world by the help of the ever-abiding Holy spirit.. These are the ones that belongs to JESUS..
P.S ~ I'm not talking about rise and fall, church goers like me oo. These saved souls know theirselves.. They are the ones who get so excited whenever the word 'rapture or trumpet sound of God' is being talked about.
not the ones like me who gets scared bcus we knw the sins hanging on us.

Each of this religious leaders are fighting for their personal interests. Corruption which the Nigerian church did not labor to fight is now ready to attack it.
The church of Christ cannot be defeated though.

My brother, i am a born again Christian and when i looked critically at this CAMA law, i realized that it has more advantages to the Christian dom than the disadvantages.

Why is the CHURCH the only religious organization worried about this CAMA law?

Because most churches nowadays are personal business "MY CHURCH, MY INVESTMENT, MY PROPERTY".

This CAMA law will address so many issues like some church workers/pastors salary, some churches lay off/release their pastors when it time to pay them off. Since church is now a full time business, some pastors working for some churches should be entitled to retirement benefit.

It will also expose people who hide under church's money and church properties to acquire millions for themselves.

Joker. Can somebody remind the old timer about the 1976 Land Use Act please? Oh! Wait. He ought know about that law since he's from around that time period.

While I appreciate his investment in the said property, he should understand that the unfortunate government we had around that time period did not see beyond their nose thus enacted a very retrogressive law which renders land owners defenseless; the decree, now an act, is also hampering the development of that sector on a national level.

All these fraudsters parading as men of God, how much did you invest in the church to claim it's yours?

Nigeria is a hypocritical nation. Small businesses pay their tax, civil servants and everyone pays their tax, but the church which is a money making entity doesn't want to pay it's own. What example are these religious bodies setting out?

You fly private jets, buy Rolls-Royce phantoms at the detriment of the nation but don't wanna pay a small percentage to the country that empowers you.

In Germany, any citizen that identifies as a Christian pays 89 Euros monthly, these monies enable the economy grow, why do we do things differently and expect excellent result in Nigeria?

Oyedepo has been restless since this CAMA issue and I hope president Buhari sets this initiative to the max.

Give onto Caesar what belongs to Caesar and to God what belongs to God.

God bless Nigeria.
the money they have collected from civil servants and businesses, what have they use it for? don't be comparing Nigeria with Germany, it is an insult to Germany

"My church", is what the blinded will see and quote. I am not surprised that the sons and daughters of "destined for destruction", will not see all the wrongs of this administration. Allow people to condemn the shortcomings of this bad regime, called administration.

Too many promises made before and during re-election, what do we have? What we see now is whatever is placed on the president's table is signed into law. He barely reads.

lf not resisted today, many bad policies will come in the next three years. Read beyond "my church".

Is easy to use others for example but you will reject every move to be like them. Germany is known as christian nation, what is classification of Nigeria religion. Nigeria is not Christian or Muslim Nation, so why should christian pay tax that will be share by those that kill the same christian worshipers. did you see Muslims man given charity to any christian community in the south, because they believed your not human by not being a Muslim. I blame the christian association for registering church before opening it while muslim dosent register musque.

you guys are always too quick to sight useless examples.

Can u in all honesty compare our politicians with Germany ploticians and our government with theirs?

Have you study the CAMA paper at all?

Nigeria problems is just too many haba how can you be comparing Nigeria with Germany when lawlessness here is a normal thing and stealing public fund is not a crime and here you are talking trash.

Do you think our problem now is church or religious funds?

May God forgive you.

Now the question is why are only the Pentecostal pastors shouting? Why is the Catholic Church not complaining? Why are the rest Orthodox and Presbyterian churches not complaining? Because I don't get it, these same pastors shouting here all have branches abroad and they dutifully obey the laws there like lambs but when they come to Nigeria they want to be lawless.
These people know that once you implement CAMA here as is obtainable in the UK and the rest, they are finished and that's why they are fighting and kicking. This is why rather than fight the law through the right channels using legal means, they employed the best way they know how– religious sentiments! It works on their members like charm! They claim it's an attack against the church as if the lawmakers who signed the bill into law after the 1st, 2nd and 3rd reading are all pagans.
Prosperity is all they preach anyways.
