- Disruption in NIPOST services was due to the pandemic, NIPOST staff are still working in shifts.

- Pay DHL/FedEx to ship and if you're lucky, the package will escape the attention of NCS. If not, you will be charged a custom fee upon inspection by Customs when the item arrives in Nigeria.

Seems things are slowly getting back to normal. I made four orders; June 15th, June 16th, July 22nd and July 26th. Within the last few days, all have arrived Nigeria, I'm yet to receive any of them though, I'm in Delta. This week or next week, I should get them. I've been using aliexpress for some time now so I never really panicked. Followed this thread in silence while I waited, but I have to say, it was frustrating at times. I think the worst is behind us. My guess is within 3-5 months, normalcy will resume. For now, I'm still ordering more items without worry. From the looks of things, orders now are taking a month or less. That's massive improvement in my books. Plus I don't really get this NIPOST slander going on here. As far as Nigerian systems go, NIPOST is actually one of the more functional ones. I've had only positives with them all through; so far at least. Can't really blame them, the pandemic did much worse to even more established systems, so they've actually done quite well in my opinion.

And please when you want to select your reason to cancel the order, look for the worst possible options that implicates the seller and select it. I think there is an option for "seller changed the item price" as one of the options.

Note that the seller would beg you to select "others" as the reason for cancellation. Please do not oblige him/her.

I don laugh tired! This one nah real sledge hammer coupled with tornado nail on top the seller's head. E no fit escape aliexpress judgement.

U should have asked questions regarding Access bank exchange rate before placing your order. I was using their Debit card to order on aliexpress up till April 2020. Then their exchange rate jump higher, I decided to 'take to my heel' and embrace GTB instead.

As per banks with lowest exchange rate, l learnt that Zenith bank is toping the list as at now, with ₦390 /usd. GTB Charged me ₦395/usd when I placed order yesterday. Those are the ones I'm familiar with for now.

While filling the address form on AliExpress, Lagos was auto-filled in both the State and the City after selecting the address. But the street address and zip code was correct. So the package was sent to post office farther away in lagos island, Marina.
Would Nipost send it down to the intended PO corresponding to the zip code or what?
