Yorubas have met with Hausas, Edos, Igalas, Ebiras, Nupes, Fons, Ashantes, Baribas, Eguns, Malians, ijaws, Shogais, Arabs etc even before the advent of Nigeria.

Regardless of the fact above, as it stands today, Delta state remains a state with fusion of several cultural heritage of what we now know as Southern Nigeria.

A working model that Nigeria can learn from... a peace multi ethnic state... where everyone speaks and borrow each other’s language.
