My bro...but they just showed you an evidence that they paid $1m in tax. What other tax are talking about!
If not because of their stupidity mentality from Nigeria why do they wait till sanction before payment? Why are they disturbing us with the evidence of payment which they should forwarded to the appropriate agency in the Ghana? Why is it so difficult for them to abide by rule and regulation of their host country and expect Nigerians to come to their aid emotionally, politically,Ethnicity and Religious as we practice in Nigeria here ? Your behaviours, Attitude and maturity towards others Is the Image of country, state and family you represent. CHANG IS POSSIBLE WHEN WE ALL READY TO CHANGE .WE MAY NOT HAVE CONTROL OF WHAT HAPPEN TO US BUT WE CAN HAVE CONTROL OVER OUR ATTITUDES .

If they were so great you will not be running to other countries. If they weren't so great just look how they are running from a third world country to third world country. If they was so great why is there nothing in Nigeria. The only thing a Igbo man develops is China but nothing self
My bro...I know this better than u do oo. But all the same shaa, every man to his opinion.

OK so all the angry Nigerians give me a good reason why a people of 30million should give unlimited access of their country to a country with 200million population. As at now the populationof Nigerians in Ghana is 7 million give it 10yrs and we may be looking at 20 million, the annoying thing is they don't pay taxes but enjoy social amenities and when they make money they send the money to Nigeria to enrich your economy. You should be happy we are giving you the chance to do wholesale but as greedy as you are, you even want do retailing to the point of even hawking recharge credits. Then they later beat their chest and say in front of you that we will take over Ghana, take over Ghana let's see. That was what led to Ghanaians kicking you out in the 60s, it is said that your numb grew so much so that you could find a Nigerian in every village then they started to form political parties to fight for power it won't happen the 2nd time

I lived briefly in Nigeria before and I know how hostile nigerians are to Ghanaians in particular.

It got to a point I had to tell my children to claim to be Liberians, not Ghanaians. I used to ask myself why is that nigerians don’t hate Cameroon, a country with whom they fought a brief war over Bakassi, the way they hated Ghanaians.

So I experienced the Nigerian hatred for Ghanaians first hand. This is my personal experience.

Ghana is forging ahead. The economy is growing rapaciously and we are seeing national development. You Nigerians should fix your country and stop this stupid transferred aggression. Ghanaians were deported en masse from Nigeria. They went and fixed their country. Today, Ghana attract more FID than any country in west Africa. Nigeria too can do it, if they become more disciplined.

ezechi24:
What nonsense are you saying...what about the Ghanaians that are doing their jobs peacefully in Nigeria...some are even acquiring landed properties... No wahala sha make Ghana enjoy ..na three years remain for the dead man to leave that seat.

Nana, well done! You are a true daughter of your father. 7 million Nigerians in a country of 30 million. Even with the border closures, do you know nigerians are bribing to enter Ghana? About a million more nigerians are waiting for the borders to be opened so they can run to Ghana. That is total nonsense. Which country will tolerate that rubbish? And they will be beating their chest that they “control” the Ghanaian economy. Control my azz.

They deported our people many years ago. They went back home and fixed their country. And now nigerians want to enjoy Ghana’s success story. It will never happen! Nigeria Must Go!

Go to their States and see underdevelopment, bad roads, filthy settlements and poverty, yet they prefer to travel to strange lands and show off.

Why won't you have problems with the locals there?

Most people do not know the laws of Ghana even for what I am seeing the gun as he do not really have a clear idea of the gipc law it is not cash it is total investment if you invest 1 million u.s. dollar this is the total investment which includes land purchase starting up a business by vehicles importation of goods machines to start up a business. If you go to some key sectors like manufacturing production and export you do not need to pay any money or to have any infrastructure they will register you. The law of Ghana states that you cannot do have a Shop as a foreigner you cannot do Petty trading as a foreigner.
Most people have not read the laws in Ghana there is the tax law book and also there is the gipc rule books. Any type of shop of Petty trading is in legal in the country

If you remember well, some months ago some of these thugs went smashing Nigerian embassy in Indonesia all because a fool was running from the police and fell to his death. Abi shey Indonesians are Yorubas that are envious of them? Around last 2 years or so a Cambodian I know working at the airport just messaged me on messenger asking if Nigeria was at war or sth, because many of this boys are showing up in rags at their airport without having any cash in hand to support their stay in the country. Many of them are straight away deported before even passing through duty free in the airport. The extent to which some people will go to disgrace this country overseas amazes me.

They have the right to transact business anywhere on earth as long as they meet the requirement of the host.

The problem is this issue is a diplomatic war between Nigerian and Ghanian governments. You don't close your border to neighboring countries in stiff defiance to ECOWAS and expect your citizens to be exempt outside your borders. Simple!! All other countries in west Africa would do the same if they had leverage to right now.

I thought nigeria said they want to take the matter to ecowas court?

Why can’t they go to court? it is simple. Nigeria doesn’t have a case to stand on.

They closed their borders and expect other west African countries to allow nigerians to live and trade freely? Go to ecowas court, Ghana will meet you people there. The head of ecowas court is even a Ghanaian grin

too much nonsense talk from nigerians on this issue. Ghana owes no obligation to Nigeria to treat Nigerians in Ghana differently from the way it treats other foreigners in Ghana. You Nigerians have to drum this into your heads.

ofcourse, there are queues, there should be queues. just because people can invest $500,000 doesn't mean they are totally qualified. some of them could be criminally obtained money, they are ussually vetted and scrutinised. hence the long queues.

It is illegal for Nigerian to do Petty shop in Ghana, Zimbabwe, boatswain, Tanzania Malawi Angola and Rwanda.
In a lot of countries you cannot open a small shop if you are a foreigner.
also a lot of shop are camouflage for criminal activities by Nigerians including selling drugs and fraud. The shops are just camouflage for criminal activities
