Gm all, pls I asked earlier that do vfs send notifications as soon as biometric appointment is booked. Am asking because I sent an email to them this morning and did not see anything like sent or receive any confirmation mail. I would like to know the best way to book a biometric appointment cos am really behind schedule.
you are really behind
Book online
Confirmation comes in almost immediately
Right now dates would be October

Avoid the use of the word "accurate". You are only speculating, sir. There's nothing accurate about speculations. You may be right or you may not. Only time will tell. You are correct that an AIP is not a Study Permit and I think all applicants know that. Every other thing you've said about the AIP is not accurate. They are simply informed guesses.

You may view it from the perceptive of mere speculations, however in no distant time you will know better.

Good luck!

It will end in praise.

People will get their Passport Requests Letters soon on this thread. I can confirm that two persons I know have received their BVL after medical requests, biometrics and AIP. They are Nigerians and they got their BVL yesterday and we did biometrics on August 24th. I am waiting for mine now sef cos we all applied in May. You are right on many things but I put it to you that you are wrong on this one.

if you have spectranet and it works very fine in your area I’ll advice you go for that
Like I do
10,223 gives you30gb ...... but I always subscribe on a double data day so I get 60gb ( always subscribe on a double data day )
And unlimited 1am -8am
The best I don’t need to buy data for the month again grin
The best

That's good. Unfortunately, no Spectranet in my location (Uyo) cry. I'm stuck with MTN (which is the fastest) and GLO for backup. I may also get Airtel just in case. I don't want village people to interface with my classes.

Until you provide a verifiable proof and/or information that overcomes my stance on this matter, then I will believe that I was wrong. Obivoulsy, people will receive passport requests soon as evident by some of the GCMS notes I have vetted from students.

Can you see how you are contradicting yourself now?
I can recall you saying the AIP is a trick or something. Why will people get PPRs if the AIP is a trick? Or those students you work with didn't get AIPs at all? If so, please tell us.

In any case, we don't have to go back and forth on this. I know what I am saying. Just do all of us a favour and tone down the doubts. You've solidly made your point.

The people that have been approved of their study permit applied long before the invention of the AIP. These set of applications was submitted to IRCC in Jan, Feb, March, and April. It was due to the travel restrictions of Canada, the visa officer didn't initiate a passport request. It was clearly stated on several GCMS notes I recently vetted. Consequently, my standpoints have never been contradictory as you perceive it and be advised that I'm not trying to put any doubtful conception on people's mind.

I may not be patient enough to continue debating with you on this matter as you may have limited insight about the current situation.

Is this really possible, What will be your excuse for deferring at 50% of your program?

fehinebony:

You wont get a PGWP if you do 100% of your studies online. A question related to this was asked during the indian IRCC webinar that was posted on the previous page. It was advised that one should defer after completing 50% of their studies online

Hello everyone, I received my Approval in Principle (AIP) letter yesterday, 1st September,2020. Below is my timeline:

Application Submitted: 7th August,2020
Request for Biometric(BVL): About three hours same day, 7th August. The BVL letter was meant for my spouse, as I have a TRV already, and as such had done biometric for previous TRV application.
Biometric Completed: 20th August,2020
GCMS Notes Ordered: 30th August 2020 : I chose to place this order because my profile was showing ‘We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements’ Since 23rd of August. So, I was curious to know the status of my application. Now that the AIP has dropped before the outcome of the ordered GCMS note, I can use the result of the GCMS note to know if the AIP still stands, since the current study permit application process appears not to be predictable.
Medical: Exempted due to my current location of residence
Approval in Principle (AIP): 1st September, 2020
This application is for the Winter of 2021. I wish everyone the best.

Hello lovely people.

Good morning. I appreciate everyone for the guidance and help rendered so far.

This is supposed to be like a family where we share in happiness and sadness of everyone.

It saddens me to see us trying to prove points. Everyone is entitled to their views and let us not fight on matters that even the schools and IRCC seem to still be debating on. They usually give generic information on high level basis.

As you guys have said, let the GCMS speak and we should all be open minded on this matter.

We should not throw shades at one another and tomorrow meet in Canada and hate on one another.

We need more friends and do not want to convert friends to foes.

Have a productive week guys.

This is my birth month and I use that as a point of contact for new things (good news) for everyone.

On a lighter note, for all the people throwing chairs at one another here, I go invite una on my birthday to come eat and drink (no alchohol for you if you will continue to fight) grin grin grin cheesy wink

Much love guys.

Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility.

Submission date: July 22nd.

Few people that submitted application after this date have received AIP.

Emmyinks:
Hi everyone, pls I have a question and am so sorry, my story is long.
Gurus in the house, pls help me.

I applied for study permit July 29 and I was denied yesterday.
So an agent told me that it was because I have registered for a course in my school and that the school have contacted the embassy to confirm if I have received my visa but since I dont have it, I was denied.
The reason why I was told this is because I received a message from my school that goes thus:

Dear Students,

Greetings from UR International!

Our record indicates that you have registered for the Fall 2020 term and have not yet provided us with your immigration documents. Please submit a copy of your valid Passport, Visa (if you are from a visa required country)/Study Permit, Letter of Introduction (if applicable) or Approval-in-principle letter to the UR International Office via email at international.studentservices@uregina.ca .

In order to continue with your Fall 2020 term registration, it is important to submit the aforementioned documents by Friday Wednesday, September 16, 2020 via email.

UR International Student Services is always here to assist and support our students. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us at international.studentservices@uregina.ca

If you have already submitted your documents to our office, please disregard this email.

Thank you!

Kind regards,
UR International Team!

I was also told that school doesn't request for any immigration documents until you register.
Now I'm confuse because I can't see any correlation.
My questions are:
Does any one who hasn't register for a course receive this type of email or its those that have register for a course that they usually send this type of email too??
Secondly, is it possible to be denied visa just because immigration officers found out that I have registered for a course when my Visa is not yet through?? Are they Woking together??
Thirdly, does been denied a visa means I have to apply again??
Pls is it still possible to get a slot for biometric earlier than 23rd sept?? Its had getting an earlier date.

Thank you so much for reading.

Hi, didn't you apply for SP last year?

Before I sign out real quick, has anyone in NL have their application refused after receiving the AIP?
We don't do hearsay. And if you guys are using Pakistani application to debate on this issue, it's just a waste of time cause they are known to submit fake documents.

AIP might not be a sure approval but it's a whole lotta step away from being approved.

If your documents are clean and you have no criminal records or medical issue, no issue with your school. Just relax and pick your teeth with a toothpick.
