My brother my neighbor kidnapped the charger oh since Friday last week, that he wants to test if it can revive his battery, so test subjects have changed.

I'll check on it this evening and then report back to the house.

Ceejay80s. First, I want to appreciate you for opening this thread and your efforts.

We did business over 3 years ago. You helped me to purchase my entire DIY unit comprising of UPS, 30amp smart charger, and a 200ah battery. I used that unit for about 2 years before the battery packed up.

Ceejay80s and to all the gurus in the house, I'll like to know what kind of setup 500k will give me.

Note: There's no electricity in the area I'll be relocating to. So, I'll be leaving 100% off grid until more people start living there.

What I intend to power. 1 deep freezer, 1 standing fridge freezer, 5 wall mounted fans, 2 LED TV sets, 1 1200w iron, and general LED house lighting.

Priority goes to my fridge, freezer and house lighting.

Please, I'll love experts in the house to help me. I'll also like to ask. I am yet to wire the house. Is there any need to do a separate wiring for solar and another for NEPA?

Thanks in advance.

my guy 500k go buy u one land for ibafo, or one mini bus as investment,
500k should do,and most importantly is to get good original batteries, mono solar panels, that money fit no reach o, cos if u buy original 2-3 200ah batteries, how much go remain for panel and charge controller....can't u just go for solar freezers and DC iron

I have a set-up for less than that amount but working with your 500k plan:

200AH X2 lead acid battery: 200k
Inverter hybrid 24v 2kva: 120k
Solar panel 380w X 3: 140k
Cable, battery lock, etc: 40k

Caveat: It certainly won't power all those stuff you've listed simultaneously. At the minimum you want to remove iron from the list

Get 2 tubular batteries110k each
The rest should cover for solar panels and charger

First ba3 to run refrigerators
2nd ba3 for tv, lightings etc

TURN OFF REFRIGERATORS AFTER SATISFIED FREEZING INTERMITTENTLY.

Remove iron biko bc 1iron = all lightings plus tv plus fans

Look for a way to iron ur clothes e.g stove iron or charcoal iron or buy gen purposely for iron ONLY.

I already have these items unless I'll have to sell them. I might consider the solar freezer if it is durable though.

Thanks man. Everything is not being used at the same time. I already have a 4kva gen that carries most things in the house apart from AC. However, it will be unwise to depend solely on gen when there's no NEPA light in my new place.

You need to know the numbers of watts for each items you want to use, these will guide experts in helping you to know the numbers of batteries and solar panel to use including the inverter. But be rest assured you can't use your iron and freezer on the solar system except you go by buying a solar freezer .

In general, I came up with a 12,000wh power requirement.

I looked at the solar freezer and it's basically a freezer with a panel, battery, and inverter. I'll settle for an inverter fridge or freezer instead.
