What hypocrisy!!

The reason You suspended the commissioner is that the charges was done without taking covid 19 pandemic into consideration.

But ursef increased transport for the common man, to over 50% in Lagos, during the same pandemic.
If true, he probably did it to encourage sit at home, as a punitive measure.

Govt will just sit and wait for individuals to think out of the box and make a living for themselves, then they will show up to collect tax

Has this gotten to you yet?
Somewhere on the Island, just imagine;
1. House Rent = 1m per annum
2. Agent and Agreement = 200k
3. Service Charge = 150k per annum
4. Caution fee = 100k
5. 7.5% VAT on Rent = 75k

Total = 1,525,000 just to rent an apartment somewhere in Ajah, Lagos State.

!!!! Lagos State have got evil plans for the masses ooooooooo.

The way that these people ask for money, the brazen arrogance, it seems like I'm the only Nigerian that feels that such manner of approach is condemnable and not right at all. Nawa oh, they just ask anyhow as if they kept their money inside your pocket before and want to collect it back like the typical Lagos agbero style of extortion from transporters. It is wrong. Can't they ask for tax with decorum?

This present Gov will be the worst so far in terms of performance and improving standard of living.
I now appreciate Ambode for being on the side of the people of Lagos, only I didn't realise it.
This one emerged dubiously and started imposing all sorts of taxes, fines, fees and other impositions on Lagosians. May God crush all of you!

Let's all be honest and blunt for once, Lagos government and the numerous irrelevant agencies and taskforce + untrained touts they unleashed to milk Lagosians are unknowingly killing Lagos and making it one of the hardest place in Nigeria to do business.

Today Oluomo will instruct his agberos to increase levy on tricycles and buses from NGN1000 to NGN5000, tomorrow one drunk Lagos Local Government Chairman and his Secretary will wake up and tell their touts at the LGA to print new sticker for all delivery bikes operating in Lagos and tag it NGN3000 and any bike that does not have it, they should harass the rider, collect his bike unless he pays a fine of NGN10,000 taskforce enforcement penalty.

Tomorrow Lagos Ministry of Transport will wake up and print one useless sticker that all commercial vehicles, delivery bikes, tricycles and taxis must have if not they impound their vehicles and demand for extravagant penalty charge for not having that useless sticker.

Why are they doing all thesehuh To meet up with Tinubu's share of Lagos revenue which he squanders in trying to become the President of Nigeria.

If Lagos Government don't take time, they will push serious business owners to Ogun state and other states in the South, let them continue to milk business owners and people living in Lagos to do business.....they should go and research about some famous cities in Europe before, today they are almost deserted and now tourist site angry

Let's be honest, I think the on line digital entertainment platforms are the one making a lot of money during this pandemic.
The amount I have been spending on data during this pandemic I have not spend it b4 because I now have more free time.
Amazon was able to explore it.

No wonder we are so oppressed in this country. Look at how this one is responding Because someone was held accountable for wrong doing. So he can’t be suspended because San Olu is not a saint.

So we should wait for a saint to come and suspend him

For him to impose this that means the government had it in mind to impose such sooner or later.

It's not too late to relocate your business and digital platforms to a peaceful and entertainment filled state with access to all parts of Nigeria, coupled with top notch real estates and infrastructures, little or no tax with the best IT guys.

Relocate to owerri Imo state and see your business reach it's peak
