Founder of the Living Faith Church aka Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo, says the only way to a fruitful marriage is when a wife submits totally to her husband.

I believe what the reverend should have said was, "A devout Christian woman who refuses to submit to her husband is disobeying God".

At least specifying the group of women such commandments are meant for, would limit reactions from atheists, agnostics, slay queens, feminists, benefit girls, career hoes, etc.. all of whom are not devoted Christians with a strong belief in the Bible.

He can't just make a general statement like that and not expect to trigger people.

Loving her ain't the problem... I'm a lover, not a fighter But the truth is a man will always be the head of a home...A woman gotta be submissive someway...i know most men ain't worth it same as women too but just submit to me(while loving you) and you'll remain happy for the rest of your life !

There is alway so much emphasis on women becos women are the custodians of "love" & "a home" which makes up a marriage.

The reason God asked a man to love his wife is because its only man in love that can treat a woman better and tolerate her shortcomings.
The reason God asked women to submit to there men is because men are suckers for respect, (submit denote respect) men automatically love whoever respects them ... you must av seen how men tip gateman, bouncers & hypemen in club cos respect boost a man's ego, God dd not ask women to love men because he knows a woman's love is for her womb i.e a woman love is reserved for her offsprings.
