Plz I need help
My toyota camry 1999 model gives me the p0401 code, ie, EGR insufficient detected. I noticed my EGR modulator was stuck (air wouldn't pass through), the modulator was changed. However the code remains.
Then I had to take a look at the *throttle body* attached to the manifold, and I noticed that I can't also suck air from the two hoses from The throttle body that leads to the EGR Modulator, is it supposed to be so, isn't those lines suppose to be free for air flow?
Please I need help

when you say it was stuck was it full of carbon deposit or becoz you couldnt move it yourself ? remember is opens and shuts electronically via ECU command

When it was changed did you clear the code?

That modulator that has two hoses connected to its head is the one I am referring to. And it doesn't have any electrical connections just air lines and the hose

The modulator has no electrical connection to it, it's just hoses and air lines.

Change your Egr valve and d problem solved

You need to know how the whole assembly works and the relationship btw all the components before u can fix it or else you will keep changing all the parts and the issue will still persist
