You are right, I had to tell God at a point that if Canada journey is not for me I should know after this my last attempt. Amen thank you, I wish you the very best too sooner than you can imagine.
BlestHanneSSG:
Congrats sir/ma.. I can imagine. I tap into your breakthrough o. What the eyes have seen with IELTS (the tears, the sorrow and the anguish), the mouth can't say it all tbf. One can only leave those two bodies to divine justice, except if they're not indeed manipulative when it comes to the test results... I wish you speed henceforth in this rest of this journey and congrats in advance on your imminent ITA.

Doesn't affect your application in any way, no need for LOE. Just state the reason there.

Ok, thank you

From my gcms notes it says recommend interview due to proof of funds and employment. The officer stated that my employment in Ghana should be reviewed but I never worked in Ghana. I only schooled there after which in 2014 I returned home to Nigeria where I currently work and reside. Also proof of funds is a gift deed from my mum which I notorized and provided.
I’m confused as to where/ what the interview is needed for. Should I raise a web form clarifying the officers mistake on my employment?

Except I'm missing something, I'm not seeing recommended interview anywhere. Review required is normal and doesn't mean interview.

There's no mistake about Ghana employment. It's just a missing fullstop. There are no full stops separating categories in the notes. Don't go raising any ADRs. Read as below:

...Ghana. Employment: ...

They're simply not satisfied with your employment for some reason and would like it double checked. But they agree that you technically meet the requirements.

Despite being on 475, I missed this recent draw due to the tie breaker rule. I hope I will get an invitation in the next draw.

Start getting your documents ready, congrats in advance.

CRS 475 and I submitted my application on the 16th of August 2020. I was so downcast yesterday. The bad news is that I turn 30 on the 24th of Sept this month so if another all programs draw isn't done then i lose 5 points. It is well.

Na to write IELTS again

Hi everyone,

I just checked my IELTS result and had

Overall
8.0

Listening
8.0
Reading
9.0
Writing
7.0
Speaking
7.5

I'm thinking of remarking my writing and hopefully get a 7.5. I'm worried that the mark could decrease after reevaluation.

Is this possible? can the score reduce?

Please help

Good morning guys, please I need you guys contribution on this: I’m an immigrant in the uk ( spousa visa ). My visa is valid for 2 years. But I want to relocate to Canada. I saw the Atlantic immigration pilot program. Can I apply for that from UK and go to Canada to work? Or is there any other way I can leave uk for Canada without hassle of going back to Nigeria. I’d appreciate information that can help me. Thanks y’all.

Hi, you can remark it if you want, your score won’t reduce. It can only increase or stay the same.

Consider a scenereo where someone has experiences as 1. Agric. Extension Advisor (NOC A) - 1year, 2. Food Service Supervisor (NOC B) - 1yr, and Baker (NOC B) - 1yr. Is it acceptable as 3yrs experience?

Yes it is unless you are applying for SINP where your work experience has to match your studies.

You can remark if you’re confident that it’ll change. The scores may increase or stay same but it won’t decrease.

To be on the safe side remark listening, speaking and writing.

Congratulations on your score.
The only modules that I advise people to remark is WRITING and SPEAKING. These are subjective modules and can change. LISTENING and READING are objective and never do change cos its either the right answer or it isnt.
You can send an EOR for the WRITING and SPEAKING. It can only increase or remain the same. It never comes down.
All the best.

Hello everyone
I need your advice.
I am applying for the Express Entry and I'm not sure whats correct to fill in the Education and Study section.

MY DILEMMA

I wrote WAEC twice. I finished school in 2005 and rewrote the WAEC in 2006.
For the ECA, I sent the second one (2006) for assessment.

In the part they asked for number of years of study, i put in 7yrs. (6yrs of secondary school plus the extra yr i rewrote WAEC)
For name of institution, i put in BOTH schools.
I was thinking that when I get the ITA, I indicate in my LOE that I failed the first WAEC at the previous school then rewrote in 2006 in the second school which was what I sent for ECA.

What do you guys think? Has anyone been in this situation? If you have, what did you do? whats the best way to tackle this?

Thanks as you respond politely and diplomatically :-)

Hello everyone,

Please I want to register for IELTS and it's asking me to pay into the account attached to this. The account looks like personal to me and I'm scared of being scammed. I want to confirm if it's the normal account you predecessors paid into so I won't get duped.

Thanks

Looks like the proper account though , maybe explore the other payment options like going to their office if you’re not comfortable paying online , but that account number is the number
