It is sad that our industrial sector has also joined in scamming their clients.

PHCN, you pay for services not rendered or at best partially rendered.

Banks, you pay for even texts messages you did not solicit, e.g birthday wishes, etc

Telecom: You're charged at exhorbitantly

No bank charges you for birthday messages or adverts sent to your phone. You are only charged for messages gotten as a result of direct transactions in your account.

GTB is becoming the worst bank in this credit alert deductions.. folks that work in this bank, pls relay this message to them, for the country is already feeling the bite of several hikes, they should be considerate, qnd not add to the suffering, for we have other options and banks begging you to bank with them.
I just love the internet banking and all, but the deductions are becoming alarming !!

That's not a scam. You where charged for stamp duty by the Federal Government of Nigeria.

Start listening to news and try to acquaint yourself with happenings in your country before they tell you fuel is N160 per litre in the filling station and you will come here shouting scam.

The Government has directed banks in Nigeria to charge N50 on any transaction ( transfers to any other account except your other account with same bank, deposit to third party account etc) that is more than N10,000.

Check again. You would have received 2 deposit alerts more than N10,000 in the period it was deducted.
