Why does transsion devices keep installing some apps you never installed yourself?
On my former phone, the infinix smart3,tiktok will always install on it's even though I never installed it. If I uninstall it,after some days,it'll be back again. Why this na?

Same problem on my mom's hot6 pro... One "scooper news" app keeps installing itself even after I've uninstalled it.

Change your playstore setting or disable it. My infinix don't do such.

Infinix generates revenue for Transsion by having a code on their XoS that installs whatever ads and apps that are pushed from their Shenzhen HQ OTA to your device. It's an economic strategy.

Some days back I read it in news that some Chinese phone were discovered to steal user data in South Africa. Later in Kenya it was discovered that Tecno phones were also stealing user data and spying too.

After listening to that news i stopped trusting Chinese phone

Try use data eye or firewall no root

Then only grant internet access to the social media and strictly useful google apps that you utilize like youtube,gmail,playstore....
You can even block internet access for the launcher and prevent pop up ads to an extent...No root firewall is very powerful

They are like vpn's but very light weight

If you know about adb...you could uninstall bloats completely and save more juice
I hope the first option helped...if not
cheesy cheesy

he should just navigate to Settings, Security and toggle off Unknown sources. This will stop the downloading of apps or updates without permission on Android.

That's why the Americans don't trust Chinese devices. Too many risks involved including personal information theft and the risk of viruses infecting the wider networks.
