Well done for the great work you are doing in responding to request but I will like to point out that when it comes to Canada study permit, everything about your application counts.

Your school, choice of program, effort put in to get admission and off course as you rightly said, how you package your application. These all add up to show whether one is a real student or one is just using study route for immigration purpose.

You are right. For the bolded, the moniker was saying the program itself (PGD) is a straight road to a denial but we don settle sha..

Bro what are you applying for and when do your classes start? Have you done medical upfront or gotten medical request?

I'm applying for study permit, my class already started but I deferred admission to next fall. Also I applied since may 11 and I only got biometrics request, no medical or AIP

Hello, Guys I wish y'all the best with your study permits and hopefully you all get that approval!! But I need y'all candid opinion, for those that were approved before march and are exempted from the travel ban, do you think it's wise to travel now since international airport are open now ? I can't seem to bring myself to a conclusion.

Thanks in anticipation!

After 30 days it changed to medicals not received, despite my plenty emails and webforms forwarding the information sheet to them. Dont know what else to do besides wait whilst trying not to be anxious

MadeMan01:

Hi @Eilenora,
Has your medical status been updated on IRCC?
Mine was updated on September 3 to "Passed"

Hello house, please has any one used a document in another language for an online application? Since we´re uploading it online, is a copy of the original and the translation enough? or do I still need to do a certified true copy and upload? Thanks in advance
The original copy should do.

Hi, there's currently a slot for biometrics for tomorrow.

A friend just cancelled her appointment so slot is currently open for the fastest finger.

Note: Don't cancel your exiting appointment yet as you may not be lucky to get it fast but instead try to use another email to register for this

Having double bookings might lead to problems.

Absolutely no problems. Cancel the other once you succeed in booking a place tomorrow.

Thank you guys, I just got a medical request today. I am hoping for the best
Frankrobbn1:

Recommend Interview (RI) and Review Required (RR) simply implies that the visa officer has concerns with your application and thus would need further documentations from you prior to your application been shifted to the next immigration level of processing. You may check the last two pages of the GCMS notes to have a clearer picture about this update on your file.

Keep the house posted should you've any other concerns.

It will end in praise.

I’m having the same issue, today makes it 25 days for me. I don’t know what else to do, I have sent a web form and uploaded the slip, I also sent a mail to Nairobi with the slip, and yet nothing has been updated. I don’t even know what to do again.

I was in your shoes up until last week

I’ll advise you to keep raising webforms
like at least twice a week and also send emails and attach the medical slip to both ircc nairobi and lagos

Unfortunately, my knowledge is limited. I´ll wait for the gurus to answer. If I were you, I would send an email to the school to ask for what the 1 year tuition is.
Godsblessings:
God bless you ,I have just deleted the pix attached. If the school give me a semester tuition as 6500 cad , what should I use as one year , will it be multiply by two.?
2, pls we want to transfer the 10,000 cad to her dormicilary account, and we have open dormicilary account for her but the exchange rate is high , pls how can we do the exchange at affordable rate

I guess I’ll have to send another web form, how many did you send before you were answered and how many days did it take for your medical to be updated to passed.

For those applying to UCW
Please don't fall for this scam, the school rep said they've received several complains about same generic email defrauding student and they're working to track the scammers down.

Got my GcMs note today, Failed eligibility sad(
God is good.

The note says: He said 27yrs old male single no support significant previous travel to access as a positive factor, no support for any employment , mothers account noted. To study college certificate.
The applicant’s rational for studies given past and current education and employment has failed to satisfy me that the expense doesn’t justify the potential for improved career possibilities in applicant country of citizenship or current residence to present an incentive to leave Canada. Overall weak family and economic ties to of citizenship and current residence to provide incentive to leave at the end of any authorized stay.
