Zik...

You are olodo rabata.

Was Zik appointed through the ballot?

He was only given the ceremonial title of Executive president because Nigeria became a Republic in 1963 after we severed ties with the Birtish queen.

The true controller of the government is Tafawa Balewa.

Presided or not.....we had Ernest Shonekan....Obj.....and Abiola.....if it sure for you present your own.....and whether you like it or not you can't deny their place in history.

Someone who is not considered when major decisions are to be taken at the Federal. A chieftain recognised at his state level and not anywhere beyond.

LaboPolitics :

Find something reasonable to do with your time rather than masturbating on Amotekun because it has been backed up by the Law and became binding on the states within the region.

On the presidency, it will be determined by votes at the APC Presidential primary election and not by an idea of a chieftain. Only dummies will have sleepless nights over Gololo's comment.

Zik's party (NCNC), Tafawa Balewa (NPC), Awo (AG) all went through the elections, NPC won most parliament seats, NCNC (Zik) came second and Awo lost. NCNC (Zik) and NPC (NPC)- the two winners came together to form government (President and Prime minister) after winning most seats. Awo went home to lick his wounds. The rest is history.

So yes, an election happened and Zik was one of the winners and became your president. His plaque is still hanging in Buhari's office as a FORMER PRESIDENT. Die if you will. grin

Stop saying nonsense. You yourself said they both came together to form a coalition and not neccessary elected through the ballot like presidential candidates. If Awo had form the government with Balewa NPC, he would have been a ceremonial president too and that is not like the electorate voted him to take the mantle of leadership.

Zik is just a ceremonial president that wasn't elected through the ballot.

Mention one Ibo man that have been elected through the ballot by voters or shutup and stop saying nonsense.

A partisan election happened, it was meant to produce 2 winners and a loser. The two winners would then decide among them who would be president and prime minister as they form government.
Balewa and Zik got the highest 'electoral' votes and formed government. Zik as president, Balewa as Prime minister

I'm done schooling your cantankerous coconut head. Those who are here to learn have learnt and will pass their current affairs and social studies exam when the question comes up.

If you tick MKO as a former elected president during WAEC exam, you will fail! Odo lo ma gba! Your sentiments no fit change that one. grin

All this super story dosen't stop the fact that Zik was not elected through any ballot and no Nigeria voted for him.

He is just a beneficiary of circumstance which explained why he was just a CEREMONIAL president.

Now Ojuku, tell me ONE Igbo man that have been elected through the ballot in Nigeria history!

Their opposition to it could cost them Nigeria as a country. So, we should just wait like sitting ducks for killer herdsmen to pick us off one by one? Who cares about the presidency anyway?

Lol, you don't know history and that is sad.

Yoruba have been elected thrice through the ballot, a feat the Igbos have NEVER achieved.

Also, check every election since 1979, the Yorubas have ALWAYS given BLOC vote if the Presidential candidate is a Yoruba man.

Check 1979, 1983, 1993, 1999, and 2003 election results to validate my claim.

However the Igbos are confused entity that have consistently given the Fulanis more chance against their own because of blind loyalty to a party. You did that for Zik, Ojukwu, and etc.

The Yorubas only have divided vote when the presidential candidate is from another tribe. Check the election results!

Abeg, this Garrulous Gigolo guy, is he really from the South?

Who cares? Y'all think it's wise to mortgage the security of your own people in order to secure the presidency huh?

As it is, Àmòtékùn isn't the only thing SW will bring to the table, but regionalization (regional government) and in worst case scenario, Odùduwà Republic.

So if anyone thinks he can use a shot at the presidency to threaten SW's insistence on protecting her own people from marauding Fulani landgrabbers and murderers, such peeps are on a long thing.

How about you coming back on this thread in 6 month's time to swallow your words?

NafeesaAA:
Am from the core North, 80% of Northerners don't know what Amatekum is and as such it can not and will never form the policy decision of an average Northerner.

Disregard this idiot pls
You dey main the yèyé man.

Whatever we do should be about "the progress of all Nigerians". In the event that sacred target fails or is being threatened by some disgruntled elements, then "protecting your own" becomes the next priority on the list.

If the evil ones and haters know this for a fact, then they will think twice before perpetuating anything that may lead to disintegration.

dalass:

Even when a southerner gets the Presidency, he must make sure this country divides accordingly because no matter the good done to the country, cancellation of debts racked up by this borrow borrow government, they will still plunder it and add no meaningful development to the nation.

Including their murderous and land grabbing vices

In the event @ bolded happens, sincerely I'm more for regionalization than outright disintegration. We need our population and diversity as an egde to keep is going. But we need to make sure each region is responsible for themselves. Not waiting for some useless monthly stipends from a useless FG whose primary focus is itself rather than the people blessed with the resource.

When each region realizes that it does not have free oil money to get again, they will wake up and start thinking on other ways to spin money. This will drive development with each region prioritizing on her own comparative advantage. Agriculture, education, hospitality, manufacturing and commerce are just a few of those thing each region can pick on.

Those blessed with oil should really not mock those blessed with laterite cos it does not matter what you have, the way you manage it is what matters. Dubai's main Forex earning is today not the oil, but hospitality which they used the oil to establish.

I look forward to a time when salaries of workers in state governments will be more than salaries of Federal Government workers as it used to be before the sad abolition of regional government and adoption of unitary government by dem Kaduna Nzeogwu and Aguiyi Ironsi.
