Hello Nairalanders,

Please my dog has a lot of Bugs on the Body, Please what can i use to remove the bugs, they are sucking blood from the Dog, thereby not allowing the Dog to Grow as it suppose to, From sad experience i don't want to use Sniper or all those chemicals, cos that was what killed my friends Dog.

I need something mild but effective...

Its called tick. If na ekuke dog,use kerosene to rub its body. But if na foriegn dog,go see a VET

The dog needs constant bathing and use of anti bugs or ticks powder and treatments.

use the liquid spray, I'll give you the name later. it's very effective.

Whatever u u use on d dog

make sure u fumigate it's kennel too and d spots where it usually hangs out in ur compound. u will find lice there

Simply go a a vet, he/she will administer Ivermectin injection in order to destroy the parasite from within, and you can also get an acaricidal bath like lime sulphur, armitraz, cypermethrin etc to bath your dog every week. But please make sure your dog's environment is clean and if you are financially buoyant enough, you can get Fipronil® spray for preventive measures. I hope this helps

Lol,i only gave @op an option. I rare dogs a lot of em,and when i see one with ticks,i use what is readily available for me.
So is it a crime telling the op to use what i use.

It is not advisable. Kerosene is extremely toxic to dogs. You on your own end, it is very obvious that you do not cherish your pet's life. Exposing them to such harmful substance because it was what was readily available for you isn't an excuse oga. Don't go around giving such negative advices to people please. You shouldn't expose them to such, let alone think of administration.

They will all dry off under 15 minutes on the dog body
