exactly. It is very annoying and nauseating. They be like "u black oo" as if black nor fine lol. The blacker the berry, the sweeter the juice, the darker the flesh, the deeper the root!.

I have heard people say things like "but you black shaa" , " blackie" as if that something to be ashamed of. Abeg, black people are inferior minded and other races see this. Who would respect you if you dont respect yourself...I am a dark skin guy but it seems people are more bothered about it than me...unbelievable

hmm really tough question. leaning towards Lewan but the Uruguayan vampire tends to deliver in clutch moments. Overall I will go with Lewandowski cos he's an unrelenting goal scoring machine but his invisible man acts a times especially for Poland concern me.

Well you did say Lewandowski is not the best player in the world after Messi and Ronaldo because he hadn't won the Champions League. A national trophy might not be far ahead to clear your doubts

Sir?

People like me? grin

People like me who have Thomas Sankara as my hero?
People who like me have gone to read about Seretse Khama, Oliver Tambo, Patrice Lumumba, Sekou Toure, Jomo Kenyatta, Kwame Nkrumah?

Lol, you know nothing about me sir. I'm a very ardent believer of Pan Africanism. So, don't even go there.

Well , great , then.

Lol.... Shifting the goal posts now? Why straying from the issues in discourse? The issue here is Cadiz. grin

You said the first team quality of Cadiz was poor when you paid them a visit a few years ago and I am saying things have changed since then for them and they are now in La Liga. That alone shows a marked quality improvement as regards their first team. They beat out good Ball Playing Segunda sides like Girona and Almeria to get automatic promotion.

Now you have left this and started attacking the quality of the Segunda which you hardly watch anyway only b'cos you wanna talk up the Championship again. Dude.... happy typing. Got no time today for your evasive manner of discussion. And talking Finance... Gala will be paying Etebo 1.2M euros for a year. Stoke could never match that for Etebo. So by finance alone, according to your usual way of twisting things, this would mean Gala definitely is a huge stepup from the Championship. Ciao. wink

komekn:

It doesn't show that the quality has IMPROVED of the league.

The entire Segunda DivisiĆ³n is poor quality and gaining promotion within the league is not a reflection of quality.

There is a huge gulf in quality within La Liga, you almost have 4 levels of quality.

The Barca and Real then Saville/ Athletico M. Then a group of 4/5 clubs then another group of 3/4 clubs after that everything is poor.

Look at the huge budget disparities between the clubs.

Segunda DivisiĆ³n is poor quality, you cannot get away from the issue of FINANCE. Better players follow where there is better money it's a simple FACT.

Look at mid table Stoke Fc, of which many should be familiar with the players in the team including our own players.

Now tell me one team in the Segunda that can match just 25% of the quality of players in a like for like comparison. With objectivity.

And it becomes very apparent.

well that argument was about him and Neymar and I rated Neymar above him. still do. Neymar has done it in club football has also done reasonably well for brazil. Lewandoski has done very well this season i can't deny but let's see what he does with Poland.

Well Messi retiring without an international trophy doesn't deny the fact that he is the best player in football history and same applies with World class players like Lewandowski, Suarez and Aubameyang

This talk is dust sha.

So Totti is not class because he never left his comfort zone?
Maldini too abi?
Messi also?

smh, I don't know who brought the idea that premiership should be the standard for measuring a players ability. I really don't know.

The fact that players never played in the premiership doesn't mean they're not class!!!

The fact that players don't leave their comfort zone doesn't mean they're not class!!!

Kai, any small thing, premiership. Like sey na there football start and end

Well, yea, Carlo dey vex this transfer window. Three good signings so far. If they indeed want to bring in a winger, then they would have to look elsewhere coz Lozano is already looking primed to feature prominently in Gattuso's new look Napoli.

But again, I really hope they don't follow up this winger talk b'cos that would affect Iwobi. They have Iwobi, Bernard and Walcott. We all know James is sure to start. Richarlison too is a sure starter. Lewin as well when they play a two man attack or when they play Richarlison from the sides. Abeg... I hope they don't bring in a winger. grin

Iwobi really needs to watch his back..

If indeed Everton get a winger, then it could be over for him...
I really hope not...

Indian Super League side Jamshedpur have officially announced the signing of Nigeria international Stephen Eze on undisclosed terms.

The former Sunshine Stars and Ifeanyi Ubah star arrives Jamshedpur as a free agent after mutually terminating his contract with Tobol in July 2020.

Eze will be hoping to get his career back on track after missing the whole of the 2020 season due to an injury he suffered in a pre-season friendly and he had to undergo surgery three months ago.

The giant center back admitted that former Bolton Wanderers, Wigan Athletic and Blackburn Rovers coach Owen Coyle convinced him to join Jamshedpur.

"Owen Coyle is a top football manager who I have followed since my childhood when he was with Burnley, Bolton Wanderers and Wigan in the English Premier League," said Eze to the official website of Jamshedpur.

"I look up to him and was elated at the prospects when this opportunity presented. He is clear in his vision and that made my decision easy."

Eze has been allocated the number 66 jersey for the upcoming Indian Super League season.

Well well

Yes now. The Nigerian league at least product decent players. Alhassan Muazum Ibrahim is in cd nacional a product of the Nigerian league and even Ighalo who used to play for Julius Berger. I mean India does not know much about football. Cricket is their main forte.
The Nigerian league is better than some nonsense league some of our boys run to.
Its just that the quality has reduced but at least there are some good players there.
I will take a player from the Nigerian league before some obscure leagues like India or Pakistani league. Maybe there may be more money there but mean it is wack

messi is different even though i may prefer CR7 and troll him from time to time i cannot deny his greatness 6 time world player of the year, 3 time UCL winning top scorer awards left and right almost on a regular. with Argentina at least he has gotten to 3 international finals.

I've never disputed that Lewandoski is world class but their are levels to this thing. some players are better than others and whether we like it or not their trophy cabinet will indicate how great they were.
