Dangote Group has announced that its refinery would be commissioned by the end of first half in 2021. Seems the coast is now clear for Dangote to take over Monopoly of Fuel supply in Nigeria just like cement from first half of 2021 Buhari is the best President for the North in terms of business from banning milk importation to help Fulani's herdsmen to total monopoly of Refinery .

Refineries that were comatose even under your hero Jonathan. I don't understand you people. These refineries are conduit for massive corruption. It is simply better government shut them down till people that can manage them effectively are on ground. The workers would resist any attempt to sell the refineries because majority of them know they can't survive under private management. |

OAUTemitayo:Why shut it down just few months before Dangote is set to commission his own refinery ? And also remove subsidy so it will become more expensive to import fuel , importers have no option but to buy from Dangote all filling station in Nigeria will have to buy fuel from Dangote or go out of business ? Secondly does it mean If Dangote a Private Individual can build refinery ? Nigeria Federal Government cannot maintain only 4 refinery to work at full capacity ? Is Dangote richer than Nigeria state ? I think its lack of political will to make that refinery work because they all have certain percentage in Dangote Refinery the Fulani cabals |

Nigerians especially south south people have no idea about buhari's fulani regime plan to break the economic power of the South. Ask yourselves why Nigeria's four refineries are still comatoes but Dangote's refinery is given the needed support including finance from public funds by the regime? Yot think its a coincidence? It's not That bloody fulani aliens and savages from futajalon will have total monopoly to control Niger Delta oil via Dangote's refinery (a fulani comglomorate) is nothing but a BIG SHAME on NigerDeltans. DISINTEGRATION OF NIGERIA WILL SAVE MILLIONS OF LIVES FROM ISLAMIC TERRORISM! SUPPORT IT. |

Nigeria economy is kill and share, all politicians are the same, goal is selfish interest, nothing more, the same subsidy APC fought it's removal has been removed, Osinbajo proposed regulatory of illegal refineries rather than destruction but nothing was heard later, he also proposed modular refineries but it was submerged. |

Whiteangel1234:So, PMB facilitated a refinery project that started under jona in the south, a $15 billion project that's set to create hundreds of thousands of jobs and new business for mainly southerners including people from your own village in the South.? You mindless ipobs are always hating and bad mouthing what you really should be celebrating, all because of hatred, bitterness, tribalism and bigotry. Horrible and negative people. |

Which refinery? How much liters of petrol do they produce per month? It only functions to pay staff and give expensive contracts to government cronies. |

Whiteangel1234:Were the refineries operating optimally or at all under 16 years of PDP and 6 years of Jona? Was the FG not richer under jona who made more oil money than any administration in the history of Nigeria, oil sold for over $100/barrel under jona, they had every opportunity ro make the refineries work and even build more refineries, but their main duty was looting and sharing. Now, when PMB came in, did he not give licenses to several individuals and companies to build refineries? Didn't a french company just announced the other day to build another massive refinery and petrochemical plant in Akwa Ibom? Or PMB was also protecting Dangote when he gave the french company licence to build refinery and petrochemical plant? Funny how you hipocrates, bigots and tribal elements sat quietly and didn't say anything about dead refinery or Dangote under PDP and jona, but all of a sudden you want to bore us with your slanted, ignorant and tribal rubbish about refineries left to rot away for 16 years. You people's crocodile tears don't move us because you care less about Nigeria, all you are concerned about is your usual conspiracy theory rubbish, bigotry and tribalism. Btw, one of you ipobs started a topic about Nigeria importing petrol from Niger, now with Dangote refinery coming on live, you ipobs are mad and upset that we are no longer going to be importing petrol from anybody. See how mindless, confused and hypocritical you ipobs are? |

You guys are so predictable. Jona spent trillions on subsidy a fraction of which would have fix our refineries to maximum capacity but you found a way to blame Fulani and Buhari. If Dangote nah Igbo person now we no go hear word for this nairaland.... |

saaron:Is none of the four Nigerian refineries in Fulani land? So is it a case of Kaduna is working and warri, port hacourt and the ors are not? Is Dangote refinery located in Fulani area too? What was his first choice of location where he wasn't allowed to site it? It is Dangote today, others will follow. |

Whiteangel1234:But is there any thing bad with us buying from a fellow Nigerian or you prefer we import fuel abi.. So who will work in the site? won't it still be our brothers and sisters... Please am from the south but I support any developmental strides conduct by or from Nigeria.. Dangote and BUA carry go |

| Re: Why Do FG Shut Down All Refineries Few Months To Dangote Refinery Commission ? by fulanimafia: 10:58am On Sep 11, 2020 |
NGpatriot:Exactly. Jonathan and his crew actually deliberately sabotaged the refineries so that that their fraudulent oil swap and subsidy deals could continue. Don't mind the mindless hypocrites. @ emboldened: Actually its BUA that got the license to build another 300k BPD refinery in Akwa Ibom. So if its the Fulani element in the ownership of these mega refineries that's giving ipobs heartache and bitterness then I feel very sorry for them. |

ThatFairGuy1:Specifically, our total daily consumption is 409k barrels per day. Dangote's capacity is 650k BPD. BUA is adding another 200k+ BPD in 2023 bringing us to a combined 800k BPD (twice our total needs). This will not only make us self sufficient, but will make Nigeria a net exporter of Petroleum products. This will also create hundreds of thousands of direct and indirect jobs (mostly in the SW & SS). Good news for the Naira and the Nigerian economy as a whole. |
