Renowned anti-corruption crusader, Major-Gen. Ola Ishola-Williams (retd) has justified why the South East Nigeria deserves to produce the nation’s president in 2023. He also said Nigerians must learn to rise up against bad policies including the recent hike in fuel price, and electricity tariffs by the federal government. He spoke on other national issues in this interview with TUNDE THOMAS.https://www.sunnewsonline.com/why-south-east-deserves-2023-presidency-gen-ishola-williams/ Lalasticlala

Its a waste of time and investment for anyone from the east that wants to run for the office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Majority of them are full of hate except few, how can you mobilize people who are calling Nigeria a zoo to come and vote for You to become a President... |

Lamasta:They should rather channel the energy to achieving Biafra, what will they get by being president on a sinking ship? They should ask the captain of the Titanic how he felt at the bottom of the ocean. |

This man has always been one of the fearless Yoruba Generals that even IBB and Abacha both fear as a person.A man that told Abacha to that the military should hand over to MKO Abiola & leave national politics.Others include Lt.Gen.Salihu Ibrahim, Lt.Gen Domkat Yah Bali, Col.Umar Dangiwa etc.So forthright a man.I doff my hat sir. |

[s] Lamasta:[/s] Like it or not, Nigeria is worst than a zoo or jungle because this useless contraption & almagamation fraud of Lord Lugard will never work.Imagine where this nation is after about 60years of nationhood. An Igbo president is only to come bear the brunt of all the nonsense & misgovernance this Buhari have wreaked upon this nation.Woe betide whosoever took over this nation from this catastrophe if Nigeria continue to exist as a nation. |

Redcrafton:What do you mean by "Boko people" Boko Haram are terrorists from the north east, that kill northerners more than anyone else so how can they be same with all northerners? Face Biafra and let the "Zoo" sort out her Presidency.

No Igbo man or yoruba man is worthy enough to clinch the seat in 2023...Let the presidency remain in the North. |

Lamasta:Who is the current Nigerian president? Have you heard about his unstatemanly 97 & 5% statement? Where has he lead Nigeria to @ present? No reasonable Igbo man should seek for presidency in a nation where there is no equity, fairness and justice.A nation wherein terrorists are in government breed other terrorists. |

fulanimafia:In your very small mind all Igbos are ipob? Are the northerners not supporting Boko bandits? Who gives them amnesty? Even they have to face their Biafra will the "Zoo" as you call them, mind their business and take their python dance to Boko haram that are getting closer to Abuja? I know your deep hypocrisy will get better of you as usual in answering this question. |
| Re: Why South East Deserves 2023 Presidency –Gen. Ishola Williams by fulanimafia: 7:58pm On Sep 12, 2020 |
Redcrafton:Northerners are not supporting Boko Haram, and it's an indictment on your reasoning for you to think they are despite being at the brunt of 90% of their attacks. Neither do they support the amnesty. Where did the bulk of criticism against the rehabilitation come from? Was it not the north east who could not bear the ridiculousness of catering for mindless killer's when they (north easterners) were only just trying to pick up the pieces of their lives? Indeed you must face your Biafra and find how to get it through diplomatic means or the python will definitely come to party. You have no business with the "Zoo". |

fulanimafia:Tell that to the birds. If they don't support BH, how come they gain access to the communities there, and sabotage the location of the army? Continue deceiving yourself. |

Lamasta:. Mr 'full of love' yorubaman, you yorubas are not smelling that sit until the East take their turn under the zoning system. Gen Ishola is wise man, he knows that the faster the East get it, the quicker the yorubas can do another turn. Common sense. If you think you can bank on your usual yoruba anti-Ibo propaganda to smuggle yourself into the presidency then you are in for a great shocker. I assure you. ![]() There will be no yoruba presidency before an Eastern presidency, zoning formular has ensured that beningly to those of us who are pragmatically discerning unlike you emotional bunch. Thiefnuubu or any other yorubaman will only waste his money on campaign. The longer the East waits, the longer the yorubas MUST have to wait. At worst, the north can keep it till your coconut agbari heads in eweduland embrace common sense and equity. ![]() |

Redcrafton:So who do you think make up the civilian JTF that have been hunting and killing Boko Haram members in their hundreds? Are they not community members? Because some terrorists infiltrate the communities does not mean the communities support them. Your assumptions are highly preposterous. Do you even realise BH was founded in and remains based in just 3 out of 19 states in the North? Disabuse your mind and think. |
