Honestly, if Zuby is a more complete DM with elements of an attacking midfielder

The only Nigerian DM that can spray breathtaking and defence splitting passes.

Mikel Agu better than Ndidi? undecided

Today is Sunday o!

Dont be mischievous, I never said Agu is better but he is a proper DM , Ndidi is an Olofinjana upgrade...jam body! I am not a fan of Ndidi style...make the guy hold ball small and dictate play sometimes

Mikel Agu, for one. Moreover, do we really need an old fashioned DM like Ndidi ?
Mikel agu is not good enough and not better than ndidi. There is nothing like old fashioned dm. Ndidi is one of the best dm in epl and he doesn't need to dilly dally with the ball, that's not his job. He screen the defence perfectly well.

Dont twist this. Zuby can hold the ball and create play , Danny. He can play centrally and you know I like players who are not scared to keep the ball and effect play not just rush off the ball.

If Ndidi is a jam body DM, I wonder what Agu is..

Or is it not the same Agu that was criticised for his rough style of play the last time he played a competitive game for the SE??

With all these abilities, how come he isn't playing at an elite league?
And he was restricted to just 17 appearance (9 starts) in the Turkish league last season? undecided He ended up with just 1 assist.

Ndidi's new position (CB) might bring a lot of advantage. We really don't have top class defenders in the SE. This is one of the reasons why sometimes i overlook Rohr's defensive approach.

Etebo can play the DM role very well.

Agu was very rough in that game against Zambia during WC qualifying game but I prefer a natural DM. Ndidi is a great tackler but a player who can add to team creativity. So much for a midfielder. Come to think of it , he has largely underperformed for SE.

if you ask him the last time he saw Azu play I'm sure it will be 2016 at an age grade tournament

this is not his new position, it's just makeshift. Evans and Morgan are injured

My point exactly , he should play defense and let go of the grip on DM. He doesnt belong there. But Etebo is not a better choice especially when you play him with Ndidi.

They won't overlap this time, but their combo will offer more defensively and offensively
Ndidi will be playing, a CB, while Etebo a DM.

Most times when you have Ndidi and Etebe playing together there is always confusion in the middle because Etebo is a forward player who has been restricted to DM duties while Ndidi is a defender converted to DM. There is no natural instincts when they are placed there(DM roles). This is mostly the reason why our biggest weakness is the midfield. For a very long time we haven't got creativity in the midfield. We need to play good midfielders who can create play and bring fun back to SE....our style is like the samba but we have been playing without style and stability. We need ball players

The player we have that can do that are Samson Tijani and Lesley Igochukwu but they are still teenagers but maybe we should give them a chance. Kelechi nwakali is also getting back into form. Let us see what he will do today. Joe aribo and Ramon Azeez are also natural midfielders

Etebo doesn't really have defensive discipline
