Hold down your power button until the phone goes off and comes on again.... Then check it if the earpiece is working.

Try a hard reboot by holding ur power button for 10-15 secs and it will reboot automatically.

This happened to me after I updated my 9s, I solved it by hard restarting the phone

And I can't find max 3 any where and now need to upgrade from my max 2... I like the one plus 8 Pro and can go for it... But I'll like to know if the screen is really big... Before splashing that kind of money...

This could be as a result of contacts synced to Mi cloud, and gmail. You can merge contacts and correct this by deleting duplicate from you Google account then sync.
