Na, Evans is just suspended for 2 games. Remember he got a red card in the last game of the season against Man Utd. Ndidi is just deputising for Evans. He'll be back in Match day 3

From England, I want only Eze and Adarabioyo, and maybe Michael Olise or Chinomso "Noni" Madueke. Others can wait for now

I hope to see a Spanish born player eligible for the SE soon..
We have had too much of England...
The English don't produce many quality ballers like Germany and Spain...

Meanwhile,West Brom have signed Ivanovic..

Man is 36 years old but experienced...
Not sure if that's a quality addition...

I thought Ekpolor and Osede were gonna break that record but they never made that step up, but for now, don't sleep on Marvin Park of Real Madrid.

It's not a Nigerian thing.

Many excellent youth players of other nationalities fail to impress at a higher level.

You have not addressed the question but justify the outcomes.

First or all look at the dominance of Nigeria at U17 level that dominance has been consistent and continous.

However, there is no commensurate return that reflects that high level dominance, when it comes to progression in the senior game in top leagues or teams.

Let's look at Brazil team of 2009 that did not get as far as Nigeria. But look at Neymar, Coutinho, etc World class players to mention a few.

Now compare that to where our players are now.

Then without prejudice you can see there is a problem.

For once, i agree with you Komekn. There is a serious problem our football authorities have to address.
I think some solutions are coming up like the Private Investors league for Privately owned clubs. It will be televised and well run.
It is an alternate league and our young players can develop there before they go to Europe. I believe the coaching and development will be
better in this alternate league.
IT IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM THAT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED.
Also, the MRI age cheating machine is making matters better

They just didn't measure up to the rest that time(or other factors like that of ejaria that took excuse himself because of his education)just like some other 9ja born that later work hard and now doing better than those ones picked e.g ejuke, awaziem, terrim, etc.

More so, if the like of yakubu Alfa, osikel, Raphael ademola, etc had the same platform like ovie, ademola lookman and others, l believe they will be balling well than them.

Everything you have said is assumptive not factual.

What happened during the so called selection exercise was a sham. The idea they didn't measure up is simply not true.

You only hear about the Nigerian origin boys who made it, you don't know about the hundreds who are rejected by clubs for multiple reasons failed and unfair. Football is not easy irrespective of where you are coming from.

Ademola Lookman played Sunday football non league till he was 16. His team played a training invitation game with Charlton and he was trialed and signed within a year he was in the first team.

Ejaria was not selected, he was also soon after released by Arsenal came to Liverpool and then made it into the first team.

None of these boys has undue privilege or favour as you seem to suggest.

So here is a question for everyone. Which do we prefer? Iwobi playing all games from the wings or him waiting on the bench to play as the AM? Because apparently, the coach doesnt see him as a 10. Isnt it better if he could make the wing play his own by working on it since that seems to be the only vacant slot for him?

I would love iwobi in the middle yes! But he hasnt been an AM in a long while. At least for the last 4years, he has been on the wings. While I dont doubt his ability to play in the middle, if he hasnt done it in a long while, his abilities will atrophy in the said position.
If he won't get game time in AM , I think he should grab the wing opportunity with both hands . LW preferably.

Kevin Akpoguma commits to Nigeria, uduokhai and torunarigha to join soon

I think uduokhai is committing after Olympics he wants to represent Germany in the Olympics
Rohr is really trying to lure Tobias too
Don't be surprised if he makes the team for the next friendly.

Park has been promoted to Madrid first team ....he might be given his chance this season who knows maybe he will be the one to end Nigeria AMF woes ...I guess seyi akinwummi is a huge fan of Marvin and I think e dey untop his matter.

The player I want really is Jordan Torunarigha, he I will be an improvement on what we have already. Felix Uduokhai will make a good back up, but I don't rate Akpoguma. Awaziem is a better center back than Akpoguma

Boss don't say that. akpoguma is an upgrade to awaziem.he is on par with ekong just like you've said Felix and Jordan are the main deal. I'll prefer the combo of Jordan and Tosin it gonna be a joy to watch.

The Olympics was shifted to next yr n I heard that's the reason he opted to join us now inorder to fast track his integration to the team before the end of afcon n world cup qualifiers

Madrid give park a chance in laliga wen hv better options like odegaard and kubo who they hv sent out on loan. Bobo just dey serve as training cone for Zidane team for now

am not really sold out on agu, the Bobo smallish stature na big disadvantage to him as a defender. I think the trio of ebuehi, Ehizibue and Aina are the best options for rhe rb position right now

Am just been realistic, hv seen park play and the duo of kubo and odegaard are better than him so I see no reason Madrid will snd both out on loan to accommodate an untested player like park in the first team
