Only if we could pay our Senators/House of Rep. Member salaries as compensation for every bill passed, Governor, every project done, Chairman/councilors for peace in every local government then will we have the Nigeria of our dream but as long as we continue feeding this bunch of useless criminals for the meet and greet they do, we will never stop borrowing to keep them greeting.

The government is broke only to the masses.
They and their cronies‘ gigantic allowances and welfare packages are in the first line of charge. For such expenses, nobody debates the release of the money as they take it with the highest sense of entitlement and scorn at any staff that would claim that there was no money.

Baba, the great borrower. What he love to do is two things 1. Borrowing money from China and other foreign country. 2. Giving appointment from time to time. Even though China government borrow Baba all the money in their Country he will still no money.

Because ALL, ALL, ALL our earnings is used to fund the biggest reccrent expenditures in the history of Nigeria. Our overheads, the mindbogglingly cist of running this country has attained stratospheric levels. And through all the woes of inflation, of rampant taxation, of Covid economic destruction, of subsidy removals, government had been the only sector untouched, no job losses, no sacrifices to the rest of Nigeria, nothing.

We have reached a stage where 95 percent of the population bear directly the burden of 5 percent of those who govern them and bear all the burden of repaying loans on infrastructure, which practically is the only benefit they gain from their country. Sorry situation.
