A student in Belgium can enter Germany, do city registration and go to ausländerbehörde for his/her student resident permit. I know some students that came from Italy.

Besure of any information you're passing across.
Please can I do the same with a polish student visa ?

Yes, but make sure you still have a valid student visa, and also have all required documents for German student resident permit. Hope you're already in Poland .

Walk into any law chamber and ask. Most of them do it.

If your first semester is done online, I do not think you should bother much about appointment date. Though you can still shoot for an appointment date, it’s most likely next year you’d go.

We should not relent. I think some people have still not gotten appointment, maybe they have and they didn't tell us anyways.

Let's keep protecting on twitter.

Very true.
Please, let’s keep mounting pressure. Keep tweeting, retweeting, liking and quoting. You don’t need to like the protest to retweet. Its for our collective good. Until we begin to discuss interview questions and not dates not being issued.

You can visit Cotonou brother and ask the immigration... like I said I came back humbly to Nigeria to wait for the embassy here...

Did you have to change the address on your admission letter etc?
Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by easywork2019: 10:42am On Sep 17, 2020
Stop Stop Stop.
You will NEED TO APPLY FOR STUDENT VISA AT THE German embassy in the country even if you have valid Permit . Don't ruin your movement with misinformation and it has to be valid for more than 3 months. Unless you will go back to your home country to Apply.

Email the embassy to ask . Ask they will enlighten you .

Does your admission letter have to bear the address of the country you are applying from?

FlowAssurance:
Except you hold an European Union passport (something like your ECOWAS passport), you are not an "EU student".. You are an international student studying in an EU country.

So Yes, you need a student visa to study in Germany even if you have a student visa for Belgium.

He doesn't need a visa, he's going to get a residence permit from Belgium and he can travel with that to all EU countries without a visa.

When he gets to Germany, all he needs to do is apply for residence permit there with his enrollment certificate and of course, proof of fund.

It’s the same with the one earlier posted, because one person that booked since April got an AD does not make us so confident about the process let just keep hoping and praying that we all get an AD
