You can't open a gofundme with a Nigerian bank account

Even before you get to the Nigerian bank account matter,it doesn't even allow you register or go past the sign up page

Only a friend abroad could open it for you, with "their" account.

Good evening everyone,
I don't know if this is the right section to ask this but for a while now, I've been trying to create a GoFundMe account to see if I can raise funds to support my online project.

Through out the several times I tried to create an account,it says it's not "supported in my country"...I tried an alternative of using a VPN to create a page and it was successful.I felt it was all going to end there but just few hours after creating the account,I was no longer allowed access into it.

Please,I don't know if anyone has an idea how to go about this whole thing here in Nigeria.
Would appreciate everyone's input

Nigeria is excluded from countries that GoFundMe operates. You can't use GoFundMe. So just forget it. Unless a citizen of a Western country opens it for you

Can you mention an example of Western Country that you mean ? Can someone in Dubai help someone ?
