@bolded... Spoken like a true Elder that observes keenly. Omeruo has been quite reliable in tournaments. Was good at the WC and was awesome at Afcon 2019. 'Not saying Omeruo is guaranteed a spot every now and then but he is a solid defender in the GWG and one of our battle hardened lieutenants who proved to be our best CB even at our last major tournament being the Afcon. But the rise of Semi Ajayi has seen competition really thicken and now the rise of the "German-Nigerian lads" will make it even thicker. I understand Omeruo is in the next list. As for you not rating Ekong, well... Every man has his taste. But Ekong is a deserved starter in our team now. And you are right... Among the lads coming in, Jordan will likely be a starter alongside Ekong. But the likes of Uduokhai and Akpoguma will do some serious battle with Omeruo and Awaziem for the backup spots. Even Leon Balogun is not left out for now even though his days are now numbered in the team. Also not forgetting that Tosin Adarabioyo could be added with time. Makes the battle even more interesting. Kog45: 1 Like 1 Share |

Iwobi back at Everton bench If dem tell una something una go wan hear Many people just can’t hide their hate for iwobi ,I wonder which reasonable person will write of a player immediately because he didn’t make match day squad Simple thing that this dude is not fit for the first game una begin Dey talk rubbish ,and yes he might not be a starter in this Everton team as there is world class James there ,so there is nothing new Let’s see if he will come off the bench sha |

Tolu is not a striker that will entertain you much with fancy legwork or skills but he is a cold blooded finisher. A very good goal poacher. He is your targetman kind of striker like a Giroud for instance and does have the ability to turn quickly in the box and poke one in. Hold up play is decent and uses his massive size pretty good in duels. His aerial prowess is also very good as he scored a couple of headers taking advantage of his super height of 1.97m. He really bullied the Defenders in Latvia and also got the better of Dele Alampasu when he came up against Dele. They had no answer to his size mixed with a deceptive form of quickness. jihday: 2 Likes |
