Baba leave that thing

Telles needs to leave okay

Do you realize that this telles will start for almost all big teams in the world ?

How many games did Lucas digne played at Barca ? With the few he played he was shaky most times due to Jordi Alba playing all games and you know alba was quality and one of the best in the world

But take a look at digne now at Everton ,he is even looking like a better player than alba now because of game time ,dude has played 97 percent of Everton epl games since his arrival ,and for the past 2 seasons he is only rated behind Andrew Robertson as the best lb in the epl

The fact is Zaidu needs to be first choice and playing all games so telles needs to leave okay ,imagine zaidu being porto first choice and have a decent 2 seasons ,my broda better laliga epl and seria A teams aren’t far from him
You don start

Digne second best LB in the EPL, How? When?

@bolded... Spoken like a true Elder that observes keenly. Omeruo has been quite reliable in tournaments. Was good at the WC and was awesome at Afcon 2019.

'Not saying Omeruo is guaranteed a spot every now and then but he is a solid defender in the GWG and one of our battle hardened lieutenants who proved to be our best CB even at our last major tournament being the Afcon. But the rise of Semi Ajayi has seen competition really thicken and now the rise of the "German-Nigerian lads" will make it even thicker.

I understand Omeruo is in the next list. wink

As for you not rating Ekong, well... Every man has his taste. But Ekong is a deserved starter in our team now.

And you are right... Among the lads coming in, Jordan will likely be a starter alongside Ekong. But the likes of Uduokhai and Akpoguma will do some serious battle with Omeruo and Awaziem for the backup spots. Even Leon Balogun is not left out for now even though his days are now numbered in the team.
Also not forgetting that Tosin Adarabioyo could be added with time.

Makes the battle even more interesting. smiley

Kog45:
Kelly my man, a fit Balogun would start ahead of Semi and Uduokhai and proper tournament don't rule out Omeruo. Awaziem truly average defender but proved me wronged with his performance in the last Afcon.

...but funny enough I don't rate Ekong.

Apart from Jordan,i don't see Kevin, Uduokhai getting it easy with our present defenders

Leicester City target ‘The New Kante’ Alhassan Yusuf to replace Ndidi

Score Nigeria Editor by Score Nigeria Editor September 18, 2020 8:04 pm

The much talked about energetic displays of Alhassan Yusuf in the heart of the IFK Goteborg have caught the eye of Leicester City, who are now interested in signing him as ‘The New Kante’ and a replacement for compatriot Wilfred Ndidi.

“Leicester City have contacted with IFK Goteborg for long-term Wolves target Alhassan Yusuf Abdullahi,” reported Sqenf Foot

“The 20-year-old Nigerian talent can play as DM, CM and RW.”

Ngolo Kante made his name in the Premier League championship-winning Leicester City side before he headed off to Chelsea.

Wilfred Ndidi has since come in to make the defensive midfield position of ‘The Foxes’ his own so much so that he has interested several of Europe’s top clubs, from Real Madrid to PSG, and could sooner rather than later be on his way out as well.

The Sweden Young Player of the Year could then be a worthy replacement for the Super Eagles star.

Iwobi back at Everton bench

If dem tell una something una go wan hear

Many people just can’t hide their hate for iwobi ,I wonder which reasonable person will write of a player immediately because he didn’t make match day squad

Simple thing that this dude is not fit for the first game una begin Dey talk rubbish ,and yes he might not be a starter in this Everton team as there is world class James there ,so there is nothing new

Let’s see if he will come off the bench sha

Tolu is not a striker that will entertain you much with fancy legwork or skills but he is a cold blooded finisher. A very good goal poacher.

He is your targetman kind of striker like a Giroud for instance and does have the ability to turn quickly in the box and poke one in. Hold up play is decent and uses his massive size pretty good in duels. His aerial prowess is also very good as he scored a couple of headers taking advantage of his super height of 1.97m.

He really bullied the Defenders in Latvia and also got the better of Dele Alampasu when he came up against Dele. They had no answer to his size mixed with a deceptive form of quickness.
