Okay NLs this ain't about romance, I have looked for a suitable category but none fit this. I overheard my neighbors discussing about an issue, it's about her and her customers, actually someone bought a cobwebs remover brush from her since March and the person who bought the cobwebs remover brush said she wanted to buy something from a store nearby that she's coming to pick It up, and she paid 700# for it that was on March 2020 she waited for he to return but the customer didn't. Fast forward to today September the customer came back to collect her cobwebs remover and she told her it's been sold out, she requested for a refund which was given to her, only for her to come back in some minutes to put up a fight saying she wants her cobwebs remover and not the money, it looks like she has gone round and the price ain't the same again but 1000# now. I thought about this if we where to take up this case to court who do you think will win the case? For me bought party are at fault I mean she would have came back to collect the item and If we look at it the other way, maybe she ran into some kind of problem which took her some months to resolve Let's say for an example she was somehow picked up by Sars which took her months to get off the hook, or other operatives you know how they work in Nigeria On the other hand why would a marketer sell what's not hers? But if we take a look at it from this angle, if am to sell a ps5 for you and you said you are coming back and it takes like let's say 2 years I didn't see you I will sell it to someone else or take my game home it's a win win situation Am actually confused How would you settle this matter as both are very stubborn to let go of just 300#.... I know you will say something like you would give her 300# to go buy the cobwebs, let's just say you are dead broke and been called to settle things |

You are not confused. You are bored. You took your time to type this rubbish over N300 naira difference? You think any court will take up a silly case like this? Joker |

Arrrrrrrh In my own opinion, the both of them are wrong. Seller A let's call her that shouldn't have sell a paid goods even she's to sell it she should have replace ASAP. And the other woman, the buyer shouldn't have collected the money she should have exercise patience and wait when the seller buy another one. That's mine. |

The minute she got a refund, the case was OFFICIALLY closed. The seller does not owe nothing more to that woman. She is even lucky she got the refund after such a long time. The cobweb is the property of the seller (until it's fully paid for) buyer never paid in full so technically, the seller can sell to anyone after 30days of not seeing the buyer.. unless people think a seller can hold on to goods that buyers haven't paid in full (aka lose money because of the inability of people to pay up their debts) |

Some people are just frustrated in this life. If it is because of 1k, i'll just dash the customer again let the customer carry his/her witchcraft and go. |

MrBrownJay1:Are your trying to say that if you were to be trader you won't give a refund after some months of not actually using a particular item? And how many months is a no no for you? |

MrBrownJay1:Actually it was 700 Naira then and she paid completely until now it's 1000 naira |

Veiniously:Don't you understand English?! The lady got the refund of what she paid.. if i was the seller, after 30days, if she didn't show up then the seller should have the right to sell the goods to someone else, unless you think the seller should keep the goods forever, until a seller decides they are ready to come and settle their debts. |
