He's a Togolese international from Lome, I suppose using this your analogy Harry Kane is from Galway, Ireland then?

Why don't you learn and move on?

If you don't know, ask or Google.
Google Nigerian players that represented real madrid since you're the google expert. Footballwise Adebayor is seen as Togolese, Only Mutiu Adepoju has worn the colours of real Madrid as a Nigerian although for the team B

Lille are definitely missing Victor Osimhen... The duo of Jonathan David and Yilmaz who came in to replace victor , has failed to find the net since the beginning of the season. And to think that osimhen was scoring with ease in that same team.. This boy good abeg cool

but our in-house Jorge Mendez said the coach built the team around Victor that's why he was so good, why have the coach refused to do same for Jonathan David

He is not talking about players that represented Nigeria at international level only but about players of Nigerian descent.

He was ineligible at the time he played for madrid. Marvin is the first and only eligible Nigerian to wear the beautiful white!

I perfectly understand your point, his parents are Nigerian but I just don't see the need to label a full fledged Togolese international as the first Nigerian to play for Real Madrid, it doesn't just make sense the same way I wouldn't label Paul McGrath as the first Nigerian to play for Aston Villa. Would you also call Adebayor the highest scoring Nigerian in the premier league?

This hurts me to even say but If Iheanacho decides to stay at Leicester Rohr should stop his invites completely. Right now as a squad player is he good enough for the super Eagles? Maybe but the fact is that he is under achieving and we must make him realize this. He needs to be given an ultimatum

I guess you and karlovich are talking of 'Nigerian eligible players' while some are talking 'players of Nigerian descent'.

nacho is not ambitious at all. He is just like some average Nigerians who like to stay at a spot as long as they are still getting little crump rather than fighting to get the full stuff. If he can't force his way to starting 11, he should move elsewhere. Abi Leicester na his papa house!. I nor get his time again. He sit down for bench for there dey shine teeth.. Nonsense

Rohr must not invite him. We don't need a player that lack drive and ambition.

He was with the youth team of Metz at the time he decided to play for Togo..

Maybe he felt it would be better rather than wait for Nigeria to call him up..

He actually was in camp for under 17 trial at Abuja but was dropped...despite being the best of all the players that came for trial according to some sources... Then he dumped Nigeria for Togo.

Why you dey argue blindly?
The post said player of Nigerian origin, do you know the meaning of origin?
Yes Adebayor is Togolese but he is also of Nigerian origin na, simple

Guys leave matter, as long as we are talking in the context of football Adebayor (Nigerians spell as Adebayo actually) is NOT a Nigerian. Drop all other technicalities to avoid unnecessary confusion.

If we consider him to be Nigerian then Alaba of Bayern is Nigerian too abi?

Lets not take our glory hunting that far.

Nobody is considering Adebayo as a Nigerian, the context of the initial message was a player of Nigerian origin, not a Nigeria player

Dig that out, and also state what prompted(context) the statement. I don't take people seriously or rate anyone above the other on a faceless forum. I regard you more in real life, not when I know nothing about you. I have met some people from this thread in real life and value them more ever since. I have connected with some outside here, and I value them. It is one thing or another that gets people connected, so bro don't expect me to hold in high regards, an anonymous fellow that might end up being a robot, it doesn't work that way, because our lives ought to be more serious outside here.

And this deal can get us connected and get to know each other better, and that will automatically make me to value you more and take you more seriously, sir. Greetings

Today is the day

The list will be released today.

Some names to expect:

-Zaidu (New)
-Tijani (New)
-Ebuehi (Return after two years)
-Ejuke (New)
-Good Possibility of one or two German-Nigerians based on FIFA clearance status/passport stuff.

Colin Udoh still reports that Tobias is on the list but I think he gives that info based on the last convo he had with Rohr about the list before Tobias' latest communication with Rohr. But we will know for sure. All I know is the withdrawal came very late so that's why it is assumed by most that the lad will still make it. But today will tell. Perhaps he has changed his mind again in the last couple of hours. We will know for sure.

It's really painful to see him wasting on the bench...
Rodgers won't give him game time until Vardy gets injured or they desperately need to win a match..
