It's a nice place, but they themselves are not publicising it, like have never seen an advert of ogudu cattle ranch on the TV or Internet B4, like seriously, in this day and age who doesn't publicise their brand or product. Even as popular as indomie or coca cola is, this companies are constantly advertising their brand, even when they don't need to for people to patronise it, that should tell u something, marketing and advertising is very crucial 4 any business or brand. 7 Likes |

The place is really beautiful. I spent two days there with a friend and consumed ~100K or a little less. The climate is really good and I encourage anyone to follow suit. Any Nigerian can afford this, the problem is we’re not exposed enough mentally. The bad road network to go there, sha, I suffered back aches for four days. From the mountain upwards and down is smooth sailing. 2 Likes |

Why do you think Europe is the standard? Why do you want it to look like Europe? Be proud of what you have and who you are, there is no point comparing. 1 Like |

100Caliber: There is a difference between low spending power and low patronage! If you say there is low patronage of resorts in Nigeria by Nigerians I agree but I strongly disagree with your assertion that Nigerians have low spending power! 6 Likes |

martineverest: Obudu and Amazon are both tropicals. But tropical what Amazon is a tropical rainforest, but it also has grassland or savannahs. Check out the “Amazonian Savannahs or grasslands” . Obudu has rainforests, savannah/grassland too. Referring to Obudu as a tropical, is in reference to its mountainous forest. It is situated on a plateau. If we are making references to how far they are from the equator; on that latitude, we still don’t have a feature to distinguish it from being tropical as Obudu is situated within the tropical climate zone; you may disagree and however genuine you may, the plateaus in Amazon still have more in common to be comparable and it’s what they have in common that has been the basis of the comparison. Amazon is primarily flat and low-lying, but it’s very large(6.7M square KM), that the plateaus it has from the Guiana highlands, to those on the Brazilian highlands cover a far much more vast area than Obudu (400-1600 square KM) where only about (40 square KM) is a plateau. The plateaus in Amazon (2000M) also have higher elevations than that of Obudu(1500M) Obudu is situated within the tropical climate zone. It’s not a temperate grassland, it’s instead a tropical mountain resort. Can a tropical mountain resort have a grassland?? Yes. On the Obudu plateau, you will find the montane grassland. You will also find the same grassland in the Amazon. Why are folks so arrogantly ignorant? and what is even European vegetation and climate? Basic knowledge will tell you Europe is a continent with diverse places and diverse climate and all... varying between the southern and the rest... but again... 2 Likes |
