this school has confused staffs that doesn't know their job...I changed my study centre since 2018 to Lagos study centre where I have been writing my exams now I was not allowed to write this exam and was told to go back to my previous study centre to write the exam. then why the change of study centre?
I quite agree with u that many persons who changed their Centres had their Centres reverted for reasons best known to them and it's a pity some persons are suffering for that.
If you check your portal, what Centre does yours show you belong, your old or Lagos?

it's still showing the old study centre. at least when taking decisions like this they are supposed to carry the students along prior to the exam. now I had to forfeit 7 Courses this semester because of their non chalant attitude.

Students were given this information about this earlier this year. Probably you didn't get to hear of it. They only reiterated this because students still went to centres to write as visiting students when they have been told earlier that visiting students won't be allowed except paramilitary personnel.

Change of Study centre have closing date every semester

You don't get it. Some persons who changed Centres since had their Centres reverted to the old Centres without due communication.

Good morning!

Please can someone with a Bsc in home economics apply for an MBA?

I asked because it is not listed among the courses required on NOUN website.

Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Nobody: 6:51pm On Sep 21, 2020
For those of you taking e-exam, please visit tklesson. for your practice tests. It will be free from now till the end of the month.

From October 1 onwards, you will have to pay 100 Naira per month to gain access to the CBT platform. Use it while you can.

More CBTs will be added each day.

E-exam students don't be taken unawares, get all the required resources you need to pass this coming exams.

Note, this is not like before when amendments are made on the timetable, the school is rushing things and might give you more than a paper same day, same time.

But in all your success is all we pray.

Get ready while you await your timetable to be out soon.

Enskynelson:

First, Electives count only when your TCE is not up to the required Minimum TCE required for graduation. What u need to find out is the minimum TCE required for graduation from the programme you are referring to and the implication of leaving out the said Elective(s).
That's the rule. If you leave out the electives and can meet up with the minimum required TCE, u will graduate without the said elective(s).

As regards the bolded, how can one get to know the minimum?

What programme are u running? If I have the information on that, I will share with u. E.g. M.Sc. Info Tech is 32TCE. The information is contained in Graduation Requirements for all programmes. 90TCE for some DE UG programmes and 140TCE for some UG programmes.

1. Yes, you can defer the semester and continue anytime you are ready.

2. Yes, you can suspend the present and start another a fresh. Note however the the University does not allow running two programmes simultaneously. It's against the rules.
