Although economic hardship which is caused by corrupt and ineffective government is the main reason behind the steady rise of commercial sex in Nigeria, saying the government bears full responsibility makes it seem as if everyone that turns to prostitution is because of the government, which is impossible because even if Nigeria was paradise on earth there would still be prostitutes.
