A place as bushy as this with no single buildings around, is filled with computers?
What about their security?

Nigeria's northern states were so too poor to improve educational standard of their own children, they (governors) ruling their states like strangers. Northern Nigerians supposedly to be most democratic region enjoying the benefit of democracy but opposite is the case educationally.
Apparently, northern politicians portray abandon land because of poor leadership compare to the southern region. Not that the southern region have gotten there but a bit better in comparison.
If the northern region can put more effort to improve their educational system they stand a chance to enjoy sustainable peace.
We thank God for Kano.

Is it religion or education?

Is it cleaness or unhealthy living?

Is it decorum or shambolic behavior?

Is it how to beg or how to be independent?

Is it how to have handwork or roaming the street?

If the above questions is positive then, the above building worth to be call a school. But if it's not, then forget it, it's just a waste of resources cause you can't see any improvement.

Former president Goodluck Jonathan did more than this by building almajiri schools all over the North cheesy it all turned out to be a wasted effort

Free school feeding was also introduced to help them still remain in school after they cried that hunger is chasing the students.
The North seems over-pampered. Federal character is still tilted to favour them. But the problem is that it has made them not to push hard generally.

Sometimes I feel like to be a Northerner in order to enjoy the privileges coming to them. But I still love being a southerner , cos I have learnt to work harder on my own for a better future instead of being so reliant on government.

providing free schools + dormitories for almajiri is not the solution, stopping the almajiri system/Culture REMAINS THE UGLY TRUTH

Harbouring the almajiri without stopping it is just a means for elites to keep using them for manipulation.

The south is better off because many are fighting to give their children better education and better chances of having good life.

They don't rely much on Government.
