This is what to do OP. First download no root fire wall select apps that can use your internet connection. Important apps like whatsap Facebook etc. And mute the rest.

Secondly click on the add use your multi task tab the app bringing the add is likely to come out go to app permissions and turn of notifications. Turn of notifications for chrome and other browsers.

Like someone said, check if your phone is among the phones that show ads, eg transsion and xiaomi, and also check if you enabled notifications for your browser's and other apps, something like special access settings, notification settings and accessibility access
