The National Asociation of Nigerian Students (NANS) has said it will join the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) in a massive protest and strike on Monday, September 28, 2020.

According to report NLC and Trade Union Congress (TUC) have been mobilising their members for the strike over recent hike in fuel pump price and electricity tariff.

The NANS PRO (Southwest Zone D), Kazeem Olalekan Israel, told The Nation all JCC chairmen in the southwest region have been notified and mobilised to galvanise students for mass action on Monday.

A statement by Kowe Odunayo Amos, Coordinator, NANS Zone D, said: “Today, the people are living in despair and there is high cost of living. Low standard of living with the government doing absolutely nothing to ease the clear hardship we have in the land. There is no proper adjective to employ in describing the increment which PMS pump price has received in the last 3 months”

“It is based on the foregoing we declare our solidarity and full support… We call on all Civil Society Organisations both on and off campuses to unite and mobilise millions of Nigerians to the streets on Monday.”

ok.buhari and apc promised change and they have delivered on their promise.fuel from 85 to now 165 is a big change.nobody should do any protest.in short buhari should send police to shot anyone that protest against fulfilling its changed agenda.next time some illiterate tells us about change we should as if its positive abi negative.everybody should just endure its remains only 3years .maybe by then the change may reverse to positive side

The graduates who were not employed are still being taxed and electricity and fuel prices have doubled.

DSTV,GOTV AND POLICE FEES ARE DOUBLED AS WELL.

Nigeria is doom. The only people who still have food to eat are the artists,politicians,prostitutes,artisans and the freelancers. Others are wallowing in abject poverty.

Even the freelancers are still on loans with loans apps cos the projects are not coming frequently.

Anyone who will vote for APC come 2023 will not live to see the year, amen.
