Hi there, have you already tried to use your card? I used my naira debit card to order SVR (even though they asked for credit card) and it worked. Zenia08: |

Yes. You’re not expected to mail/call them till it’s after 28 days. Bear in mind that it’s coronavirus that’s affecting them. I requested on the 7th, got my acknowledgment mail since Aug 17 and I haven’t still gotten any feedback yet. ogunlowoluseun: |

Mamaroon:Thanks a lot. I got the information from page one but I'm a little bit confused because they said 'your application costs 1325'. Then another row states ' if you want to include dependent children 225 per child'. This inclusion of children does it mean adding more children that one did not earlier say they were travelling with? Please someone that applied with their children should help. Thanks to everybody that has responded already. |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by Pweetytomi: 11:03am On Sep 28, 2020 |
Nikkybeth: It means a single applicant would pay 1325 while a person applying as married would pay 1325 also for spouse and 225 for each of the kids included in the application 4 Likes 1 Share |

Nikkybeth: Children can only be added on your eAPR, you could not have included them on your EE profile before ITA. The total fees are below, the ones in bold/red font would apply to an applicant that is NOT going with their spouse but is taking their children along. $225 is for each child, if you have 5 children 225 x 5. You can pay the right of permanent residence fee ($500) later but IRCC recommend you pay the right of permanent residence fee (CAN$500) when you submit your online application to avoid future delays.. If you are leaving it out you will pay $825 now instead of $1,325 for yourself alone. Fees $CAN Processing fee ($825) and right of permanent residence fee ($500) for Primary Applicant alone (i.e. YOU) $1,325 Your application (without right of permanent residence fee) $825 Processing fee ($825) and right of permanent residence fee ($500) for your spouse (if they are coming with you) $1,325 For your spouse (without right of permanent residence fee) $825 For each dependent child $225(per child) Biometrics – per person $85 Biometrics – per family (2 or more people) maximum fee for a family of 2 or more people applying at the same time and place $170 12 Likes 7 Shares |

To the very experienced seniors in the house Please I need a clarification regarding POF. I deposited about 70% of my POF into my account as a lump sum back then in July. Since then, I have been adding to it from my monthly salary, and now the POF is complete. If by any chance I receive ITA now, is it safe to accept it, especially considering that the fund wouldn't have stayed in my account for 6 months. Or better still, since IRCC now gives 90 days to complete application, can I wait till say the 75th day of receiving ITA, before collecting the letter from the bank and with that, the lump sum payment would have stayed in there for about 6 months. I would really appreciate your opinion please. @ednut1 @Kekereekun123 @Mamaroon and other seniors |

Pabodan:this is an ADR they sent someone of recent . His salary was N1. 2m but had investment of 4m which had used over 6months in his account. Sometimes the visa officers use common sense. Provide source of the 70% to avoid stories that touch. 2 Likes

Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by Nobody: 2:20pm On Sep 28, 2020 |
Pabodan: ednut1: What IRCC actually wants to see is "average balance for the past 6 months", we are the ones who have interpreted this to read 6 months worth of statements or money must be in your account for 6 months.......perhaps in the absence of average balance from our banks. #PersonalOpinion......in bold...very important for POF....showing/explaining the source of funds. POF ADRs seem to be an indirect way of VO asking "where is this money from, is it really yours"? Whenever there is a lump sum, it may be best to explain where it's from e.g. accumulated savings of monthly salary for the past 5 years, gift from mum, sale of land, lottery win etc., with associated supporting documents. 4 Likes |
