Omoslim26: Crossing bridge or flying to mars n Jupiter doesn't change anything... Nigeria is a GONNER... sovereign nation disinterested from her will be better off... Dangote has INVESTMENT across Africa...does that make Him citizens of those countries? No...but he runs his business legitimately. So that's not an issue 1 Like |

Racoon: Well said. The coming together of people of different nationalities must be discussed and the manner of association agreed upon. USA started as confederates and their coming together as a country was laboriously discussed. Even at that each state still have it's own laws, so it is more of strong states and a weak centre that provides more of defence cover for all. Thus it is imperative that a thorough discussion on the state of the union take place otherwise we are only postponing the dooms day. And when it happens the entity called Nigeria will cease to exist and disintegrate into only God knows how many part. A stitch in time saves nine. Peace and love. 1 Like |

Truth is, Buhari would want to be remembered as a martyr up in the north, and if he does not go in the way of Usman Danfadio, his efforts or time as president will be totally wasted. |

Omoslim26:I share in the feelings of your opinion but honestly, restructuring is one thing the north can't offer the south unless it becomes the last resort and they'd never allow it get to that point. First of all, to get restructuring shebi agitation go dey?, To achieve an effective agitation shebi protest go dey?, To protest shebi army, police, DSS go dey? If Dem dey shebi Dem fit shoot person? If them shoot person shebi him go die? If him die shebi him don die go be that?? In the name of Nigeria. Now show me person wey as e b wan die for Nigeria. But people can lay down their lives for Biafra(as we've seen), Oduduwa, naija Deltan. The issue is that, the situation has been like that for so long and people are finally tired. See as them thief #2billion in the name of feeding school children during lockdown. Haba na, e too much. When things serious those wey get inter state business go change course. 2 Likes |

SpecialAdviser:I tell you! Buhari is investing heavily in so much infrastructures as possible in core Hausa/Fulani lands with Chinese loans using Niger Delta oil resources as collaterals/mortgages, so that when Nigeria eventually disintegrates, they will have something to fall back on. Still, our stupid southern leaders are yet to sense the evil machinations of Buhari. Foolish cowards! 3 Likes |

Racoon: Break up into how many?? 3? 4? 6? 10? Who determines how many parts we break up into? We need to exercise caution when saying break up cos nobody is a fool and will stay in a forced or even slightly inconvenienced arrangement after u start this break up idea. People/groups/communities/states will have no tolerance or reason to be together at slightest provocation. Let’s be guided. 1 Like |

Okuda:I am not in for make believe story, you cant fool the jury with sentiments. Old eastern region was an artificial creation just like Nigeria and as such can't be used as a template. The Nigerian lawyers will argue that the only disputed region is south East Igbos and that Delta Igbo is actually a separate ethnic group and as such the referendum will not include them with Rivers and ikwerre off the mark. Forget about ijaw and other distinct southern ethnicities, you can never get them in court. But with all the evidence on ground, there will be a high chance (90+) of the Igbos to get enuani of delta state, North Central Igbos and the Orashi people (Obigbo Co)based on historical evidences but those that are openly denying Igbo right now like ika and ikwerre will definitely (95+) remain with Nigeria and the referendum will not include them even if Nigeria will field a very dull lawyer but with a good lawyer, Nigeria can even get the most of the Igbos in Rivers (ọgba and co) state and enuani of delta state. If their would be a non igbo to be granted referendum for Biafra, there is high chance it would be ibibio and some from cross river (that is if Biafra can field an extremely good lawyer) My brother this is legal matter not about sentiment. |

Goke7: Movement is not an issue, obviously there will be international movement with proper arrangements. Furthermore, nobody says it's going to be easy at first, look at Brexit, there are gains and losses and I tell you the gains outweighs the losses. Remember I said self reliance and development at your own pace. Nigeria cannot work for too long with the kinda pseudo federalism we are practicing. Unless we practice true federalism break up song will continue to echoes. |

“Since 1914 the British Government has been trying to make Nigeria into one country, but the Nigerian people themselves are historically different in their backgrounds, in their religious beliefs & customs. They do not show themselves any signs of willingness to unite … Nigerian unity is only a British invention” –Alhaji Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, 1948. “Nigeria is not a nation. It is a mere geographical expression. There are no ‘Nigerians’ in the same sense as there are ‘English,’ ‘Welsh,’ or ‘French,’ The word ‘Nigeria’ is a mere distinctive appellation to distinguish those who live within the boundaries of Nigeria and those who do not” -Chief Obafemi Awolowo, 1947 “It is better for us and many admirers abroad that we should disintegrate in peace and not in pieces. Should the politicians fail to heed the warning, then I will venture the prediction that the experience of the Democratic Republic of Congo will be a child’s play if it ever comes to our turn to play such a tragic role” -Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe, 1964. This got me thinking !!! |

Why wouldn't they be cracks in the walls when appointments are lopsided. The system of appointing people from only one section of country is the major reason why the cracks are getting deeper. Please, tell your boss to spread all the appointments in the country and not only limiting it to a particular part of the country. |
