Hello Onweke,

What is the total summation of both your first year tuition fees and LE, is it approximately the 7.2m or there was some extra of maybe 2m aside the budgeted funds for your family wellbeing upon your absence and how was this funds shown. How did you demonstrate that your spouse is gainfully employed and will be able to support/cater for the family in your absence? – this may help you understand or tackle the VO's concern for the low funds.

In terms of your proposed course, and aside you working in the bank, where you able to demonstrate that you have at least little experience in the choice course and/or carried out an assignment as well as an assigned tasks that exposed your limitations? Did you do well to provide clarity that the banking industry in Nigeria is now leaning towards Geographic Information System in solving future problems in the economy and in the industry. Where you able to present a prospect for this course that makes the Nigeria banking industry weak without its implementation and is this a relatively new field in the industry gradually taken shape? Even of I know, I may argue that this course would be a limitation to your professional career as a banker in future, was there any clarity to ensure the VO was properly enlightened?

In demonstrating how well-established you are in your CoR., it may be better to prove this by demonstrating how the owned properties ate not just liabilities but a money making venture with substantiated records of proof. If you claim it earns you funds, it should be able to reflect in your BS and not just dumping documents. Boost about your job and its numerous benefits in the present economy state and the several successful and rewarding financial assignments/contracts you've closed on behalf of your employers and vouch for the potentials you can reach in the future. Though there is a limitation to this especially for someone who earns a meagre pay.

Do well to take your time to explain any cash inflow that happens to be a lump sum deposit and show proof from where it came from, very important. It will be more preferable if it comes from a sales, contract or family.

Generally, I am trying to point all these to how you can improve on your home ties and letter.

All the best

@luckymama thank you for that
Also, you said first year tuition was paid in full
My sponsor didn't pay the tuition from her account because the rep of the school said deadline for payment was close so we used my sister who has the same surname to make payment
Should i add my sister as a co sponsor please?

I don’t think it matters. All you need to do is attach the evidence that the tuition has been paid. The evidence of payment from the school will not indicate who paid the fees.

Madam, i can remember vividly how Frank courteously answered your questions when you were denied a visa for using company sponsorship, giving you free advice as he has been doing and here you're saying balderdash that he has connection with somewhat lawyer's in Canada simply because he suggested that applicant's with good profiles may seek for judicial review rather than reapplying blindly without properly addressing the visa officer's concern's. This has got nothing to do with him having a connection which you so much claim that he has. To be honest, this pandemic actually helped, cos there was no place to spend the money.

Applied for fall
School university of Windsor
My cousin account over $30,+
I attached fixed deposit in my name $15,+ not bank statement
I added land documents in my name.
Was not able to attached affidavit of support due to pandemic.
I’m single 27 and also only child of my parents.

Hello Jamesobedbaisel,

In your next application, do as the VO as stated in the notes by including a sworn affidavit, Consent or Undertaking from your parents for such sponsorship intent, Letter of Sponsorship (properly highlighting why such intent and the prospect benefit). Also declare the number of dependents he currently have.

It may be in your best interest if you liquidate the fxd into your account and get a letter to support the inflow of the liquidated cash into your personal account. Do well to also demonstrate how you intend to meet the cost of your expensive education.

In this vein, what were the roles of your parents and is there any specific reason why they can't stand as either the sponsor while your cousin a cosponsor? You have to bring them into the picture so you can be able to demonstrate that without your cousin's funds, you are not financially incapacitated as there is a reliable source of funds belonging to your parents and you.

Good day happy people.

Please I am about submitting my application but I have a couple of question.

I got admission for a PGD program in Sault College for Automated Manufacturing(I have a BSc in Electronics and Computer Technology)

Is it necessary for my sponsor to provide payslip in addition to salary account statement?
Their was an error in my WAEC date of birth(different from my international passport date of birth). Do I need to explain this in the SOP?
I have sufficient transaction and balance(8M) for six months in my personal account(different from my salary account). Do I need to explain the source of funds because I already have a sponsor.

Gurus kindly help.

Thanks.

@JustMellow please what do you mean by *get a letter to support the inflow of the liquidated cash into your personal account*. I also intend liquidating my mutual funds investment and also transferring a lump sum of 4m from my personal savings account (sent to me by my sister) to my salary account.

How do I prove the source of these funds? (I am applying as a self sponsor but I am using the money from my sister to increase my account statement)

Madam, i can see that from your statements, you have got nothing meaningful to say that was your reason for using such harsh words and laying false accusations against "Frank" having connection with an immigration attorney. This is a mere jealousy and hatred which you've been nursing long ago in your heart against the young man. What does his presence for a couple of years got to do with you?. Didn't you benefit from his free advices? I can see that you're one of those people who after securing a visa, will forget their grassroot and never bother to help others. People are so ungrateful and you should better change this bad attitude of yours before it's too late.

Always have it at the back of your mind " That pride goes before a fall", be very careful how you lay false accusation's on innocent people.

Good evening all , I wanted to ask about the best way to apply for my student permit . A brief summary about me .

My bsc was in the medical field, so i am going for Occupational health, welness and safety. Its a one year PGC
I am a single parent and I have a 4 years old that wouldn't be accompanying me .

The main issue I have is my proof of finance ,I have about 6 million naira in my savings account , I started to gather this sum by June this year. The sponsor I want to use is a family friend ,she is not in any way related to me . How can I make this fly ,that is using a 3rd party sponsor . Please this has been a burden to me ,as I dont know how to go around it. Thank you all

Hello MamaIva,

This may not fly except you want to claim that the said person is a very close family member. It should be a cosponsorship application rather than a sole sponsorship from a third party taking age, work experience, the available funds into consideration. Also note that as a single parent, you have to demonstrate how the wellbeing of your child will be cater for both financially and socio-culturally except you want to claim the child will be under the financial responsibility of the father or your parents. There again, it will be only right if you can demonstrate they are financially stable and an undertsking to this agreement.

Even if you were the one who paid my tuition fees and packaged my visa application, are you God? Does that mean you are perfect and can’t make a mistake? Does that mean you can’t be corrected?

All I said is that we should give full disclosure. I still stand by what I said - it is not normal to advise people to spend over a million naira on judicial review when you have not exhausted all possibilities.

For judicial review to be the first line of advice to someone who has not even received GCMS notes for their first rejection is unfair. Assuming the person has applied several times and is still rejected then you advice such then that makes sense.

And for all of you to suddenly appear out of nowhere to start insulting me and trying to shut me up simply shows that I have a point. You people should sha be doing things with a conscience. People listen to you and make life decisions. Don’t carry that load lightly.
