I have noticed the number of Nigerian used ES350 for sale recently. Any peculiar reason for that or does the car have a unique problem? Users of these cars, kindly let's know if there's a peculiar reason

Reasons are:

1. They became broke

2. They want to upgrade to benzima

My theory is, the price difference between the 2009+ camry and the ES got too close and most camry shoppers saved up and got the ES 350

With lots of people buying the vehicle, its only normal to have lots of them for sale especially now that it can be sold at the same amount it was bought. The Toks of this vehicle once sold for as low as 2.5-2.7m. I've seen Nigerian used now going for 2.8m

Again, this is my theory, I have been wrong many times and may be wrong again.

Most cras on the market don't have catalyst, trust me driving an es350 without one is a nightmare

Driving an Es350 with messed wiring will bring headache

Poorly fixed salvaged (accident) es350 na wahala

One problem we always have is noise on the legs...no matter how careful you drive that car on high way, after each journey....your mechanic will be expecting you except you don't mind the noise.

The car has very low clearance

Except you have flowing cash, the car will be tiring in no time

Boring? Now between my Muscles Camry and the ES which is better in terms of in terms of driving excitement and being boring. By this I mean driving experience

They're mechanically the same car, but the ES offers a better driving experience.

This is one thing that puts some of us off. It's even worse here in PHC. I think I see more ES 350s these days than I see the "muscle". Apart from that, it's a solid, beautiful, well designed car.

You observe well, including the 330 too.

So many Yahoo boys have that car and many of them are either trying to upgrade or sell off cuz they are broke. Yahoo Boys are the best/worse set of people to buy cars from cuz they don't use cars for long but in that short time they do, they will nearly break the car into two.
And they sell at give away prices as long as you have cash.

FYI,

All cars don't use regular PMS. Petrol is rated based on the additives in them. 89/91/93 is the grade I know. Premium is 93, most luxury cars ( Mercedes, Audi, Lexus, BMW ,range rover) are supposed to run on premium fuel.
Reason most luxury cars in Nigeria gives so much issues is because they run on non recommend fuel.

ES is far better than camry please. It's criminal to even compare both together.... is It the heated seat you want to talk about, or the soft leather seat, or the park assist features, or the steering adjustment button, or the overcomfortable smooth driving experience, ... that camry have nothing compared to ES please. Have driven both and difference clear.... na person wey like suffering go prefer camry to lexus

I have also used both and I will pick the Camry for long distance journey. There is a reason they call it muscle. That car is very balance on the high way....
