Naira Marley has been reached out by the Minister of Youth and Whatever Development on how this issue will be addressed. Mba, a former Police PRO but now in another capacity also has asked Naira Marley to have a scheduled meeting him today...this is coming because he tweeted that protest would start today.
I don't think anyone from the government asked 2face to stop embarking on any protest, except that we learned that his mother dissuaded him from doing it and all that. It shows that Marley means something to government (whatever it means) that 2face does not. I don't think Marley is ever afraid of prison (showing sheer boldness) and that is enough reason for government to seek to have conversation with him.

Was 2face ever asked to have talk with anyone in power to stop his protest?

More so, the time is a very sensitive one now. Arrest of anyone protesting against SARS, especially public figure, won't be met with silence from Nigerians again. So I feel. Breaking point is being tested. Jungle justice can start any moment hence.
