Igbere TV reports that force spokesman Frank Mba has advised the general public to make videos of policemen engaging in unlawful conducts but from a safe distance.

In an Instagram Live chat with pop artiste Naira Marley on Tuesday, Mr Mba said: “If you see an officer doing the wrong thing if you can record him safely do so and send to work review.”

He added that he would not advise citizens to go about making videos of security and law enforcement agencies indiscreetly.

Mba said he does not encourage anyone to go into a formal argument or physical fight with an armed officer.

Meanwhile, Naira Marley cancelled his planned protest on Tuesday and gave the police one week to address complaints against the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).

Far? Like how many kilometers away?
The videographer u arrested, was he not far enough?
Or was he not close enough?
If they are doing the right thing, then why would they be scared of being recorded?

cool

Common sense is what he gave out there ... A police on illegal duty harrassing and extorting people might kill anyone recording him since he knows he is committing a crime that could get him dismissed and put in jail

For the first time I must commend this Naira Marley guy and his Marlians people

thebosstrevor1:
Have you ever wondered if Nigeria breaks up today, who will
lose. Many people think the igbos or hausas will lose, No,
the biggest losers will be Yorubas.
We all know that their are three major ethnic groups in
Nigeria namely, the igbos, Yorubas and Hausas. When it
comes to real economic turn over the igbos and hausa
produce more turnover than the Yorubas reasons because
the igbos are traders, hausa are farmers.
If we take lagos for instance, the commercial city of Nigeria,
90% of the food are all imported from hausaland while 90%
of trading are all in the hands of the igbo where does that
live the yoruba man.
The yorubas want to work in big offices and move up the
ladder, hardly will you see the yorubas on the farm or in
trade, this is what over reliance on education certificate has
done to the yorubas, back in the days before the arrival of
free education by Awolowo, the Yorubas were traders,
farmers and big business people, they provided for
themselves and feed themselves, those days brought about
big yoruba businessmen that are still alive today. with the
coming of free education by awolowo, the yoruba left the
farm, left trading and went after education, they started
brainwashing them that the acquisition of skills like trading,
mechanic, sewing and others were for the poor, they infact
laugh at you if you own businesses or you were in a trade.

The education strategy actually worked for them because
many yoruba people became very educated with lot of
degrees, they were professionals but as population increased
and other people move to big cities like lagos, the chances
of getting a job reduced for the Yorubas. The immigrants
from other cities into lagos were ready to work for low pay
while the educated yoruba with lot of degrees felt the pay
was low, they were pushed aside making many of them
unemployed.
The Yorubas didn't learn any lessons, they still encouraged
their kids to gather all the certificate he can instead of telling
them to get a skill along with the èducation. Today if you
look around, the major tribe with the highest population of
jobless professionals are the yorubas and that is because
the chances of getting a job is very low at this moment,
many of them don't want to start a business or farm, they all
want office jobs.
If Nigeria breaks today, there is going to be a very high
unemployment rate among the yorubas except they go back
to the basics were they saw acquisition of skills and trade as
golden then will they be free, this strategy can start now but
it will take 3 generations to bring back the lost pride of the
yorubas.

These are the words of a Man that is not wise and intellectual in every aspect of thinking and Reasoning

He didn't cancel the protest, he gave Police a week to make amends and change their ways while he observed, and the police also in good faith reached out to him..

Naira Marley fans are drug addicts and both parties (NPF and Marlians) just saved peace loving Nigerians some stress by reaching a week compromise

If you doubt me google clips of Marlians reckless behaviour at his Eko Hotel show, the damage and all, google his Abuja lockdown show at jabi mall and see the miscreants in attendance

From a safe distance so their faces, service number and name tags can't be picked properly and then when presented as evidence the clip will be struck out as unattainable evidence abi.

What is the purpose of the protest in the first place. Is it not to call the attention of the authorities in charge if SARS?
You expect him to ignore the dialogue even when everyone knows frank mba will yarn dust as usual?
You need to think bro.
