She was the Assistant to Florence Omagbemi back then in 2016, she has also worked as an assistant coach with the U17 Women's team years back.. she's currently the head coach of Abia Angels..

She has CAF highest Coaching qualification and she's also CAF Coach instructors..

Wemimo Matthew worked is the Head Coa5ch of Sunshine Queens, she worked with Thomas Dennerby during the last AWCON before she was dropped, she's experience too....

With Ann Chiejine who knows more about Nigeria/African Women Football alone sef, Randy would be do a good job..

As for the Goalkeeper Coach he had been on and off with the Various Women National Teams since 2010.. A well known and respected Goalkeeper Coach,

Thanks for the info bro. What a rich pedigree from the two assistants. Big cover up for Waldrum. Guess this is his first time coaching an African team. But since he knows more Nigerian players abroad, it could be an advantage

Randy Waldrum is new Super Falcons’ Head Coach

The Nigeria Football Federation has announced the appointment of Mr. Randy Waldrum as the new Head Coach of the Senior Women National Team, Super Falcons.

Waldrum, an American who played as a midfielder, has worked largely within the American women football circle and was head coach of the Trinidad and Tobago national team between 2014 and 2016.

He will work with former Super Falcons’ goalkeeper and captain Ann Chiejine, who is the first Assistant Coach, while Wemimo Mathew Olanrewaju will serve as second Assistant Coach and Auwar Bashir Makwalla will be goalkeepers’ trainer.

President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Mr. Amaju Melvin Pinnick thanked Philips Consulting, the executors of the recruitment processs, and said he has confidence that the new technical crew will take the Super Eagles to brand new heights.

“The predominance of the Super Falcons on the African continent has never been in doubt, with nine titles out of 11 editions of the Women AFCON competitions held so far. We envision a new Super Falcons squad competing favourably for laurels at the global level, and I believe the new technical crew led by Mr. Waldrum can take us to that level.”

At last.. We would like to know more details about his tactical and team setup, Good Job NFF, it seems they got it right. They should inform him to start the work asap..

Typical Central midfielders who's very hard-working with good all-round abilities, which makes her skilled at both defending and attacking. Ayinde is that players who can therefore track back to her own box to make tackles and block shots and also carry the ball forward or run to the opponents' box to try to score.
Play Halimatu Ayinde Centrally or Box-to-Box, she will give you exactly what you want.. Although she sometimes slot in as a Defensive Midfielder but that isn't her best position..

She's really committed! I like her for that!

Ordega or KANU? Based on current form, I will reluctantly pick Kanu.

Kanu is not up to Ordega's level yet.

Don't be surprised if we here she Franny is also scoring goals in China. Like I only found out her past season stats lately and they were good. The Chinese women's league gets very poor coverage. U rarely see their games online

This is true!

I will still pick Ordega ahead of Kanu....
Experience, Pace, strength and Defensive abilities Ordega is ahead of her and she does more of the playing and assist than Scoring..

Kanu is more of a goal Scorer, she plays like Ronaldo always eager to score which is one aspect she's better than Ordega....
I think with time Kanu will reach her full potential and will be unplayable..

Yeah... I agree, whole heartedly!

Ngozi Ebere and Rita Chikwelu are two tired players who need to be slowly detached from the team. Both of them usually make the team look too lethargic.

While Chikwelu's quality cannot be questioned, i do not think that she needs to be given much responsibility anymore, considering her age - She is old. Ebere, on the other hand, has completely lost it ; she brings nothing special to the team, she is actually old too, and needs to leave, just like Ikidi.

I hope that Patricia George will come good; it will be a big relief if she does, as she'll take up a big responsibility. I trust the incoming coach to unearth more talents, especially in the midfield and defense. Finally, i like it that the coach is American, as i've always admired their approach and style of play.

So? U can be a new team and good especially in America. He had 3 seasons. Same thing with Trinidad where he got the sack. We are basically hiring this man because he won NCAA championships in the 2000s

Patricia George is another versatile Player, who can slot in from both wings as a Fullback, Wing Back and as a Winger but prefers the Left Wing according to her...
She's Very Fast, Strong, Skillful and can Use Both Feets effectively. She's good at taking CornerKicks and Penalty too..

Yes he was fired by the Trinidad and Tobago federation but the players Talked good about his impact on the team, it might be a disagreement between him and Federation..

He has coached world Class players at Houston Dash from US National Team, Brazil Canada, Mexico and England even Australia. I don't think it's going to be a much difficult task for him because those Assisting him are very much Experience, they have been in the game for Long too and have also worked with the Various players, Nigeria Women National Teams and Clubs

Yes... Big Time Truth
When Guus Hiddink was Chelsea's coach, he combined it with his Russia's national team job and did well. If the man feels he can combine it, so be it. Let's stop trivialities.

The NFF I know can owe salaries like anything. Its better the man continues to work with the University to avoid going hungry. Gernot Rohr as I heard owns a hotel(s) which he earns from in case of delays in salary.

Truth be told, I was never in Support of NFF appointing Coach Randy Waldrum but the thing is that it has already happened, let support him and pray for the best from the team...

it's really a thing of Disregard to the Superfalcons for him to Coach them and the college side at the same time.. instead of focusing on only the Superfalcons

I wonder oo, Combining two coaching jobs at a time is suicidal, honestly. He's an experienced coach, We hope he would do fine amidst the double jobs.
