I wish you all the best in your endeavors but like someone ( an officer) said on a particular page, there are better things out there to do with your life. Many of you won't know what this thing entails until you get in. I read a story if a soldier who met a senior officer for advice and tips to tender a resignation. He had only spent 5 years and then the senior officer handed over to him the HTACOS. When he finished reading it, he burst into tears. That was when he realized the mess and bondage he has gotten into.

Please, before you join this thing, rethink.

My boss told me last night that more than 10% of the serving personnel in SSC weren't shortlisted during their times but because more than 5% of shortlisted candidates each year never showed up for screening that candidates that came uninvited are sometimes screened and in some cases they are selected. So if you don't see your name when we start checking and you have the resources to attend the screening, please do. Ones more, I wish all of success.
