During my free times , sarted reading from page 730 on Sunday, reached page 1 today and I must confess I learned alot. I've been educated and schooled.

I wish you all the best in your endeavors but like someone ( an officer) said on a particular page, there are better things out there to do with your life. Many of you won't know what this thing entails until you get in. I read a story if a soldier who met a senior officer for advice and tips to tender a resignation. He had only spent 5 years and then the senior officer handed over to him the HTACOS. When he finished reading it, he burst into tears. That was when he realized the mess and bondage he has gotten into.

Please, before you join this thing, rethink.

Rethink.

Baba, we don think tire na.

Life no make sense for me.

It's better I join soldier and die a honourable death than commit suicide and die for nothing.

I will join the army and die in battle.

Lol you think we just woke up and thought “make we even apply army sef” we’ve gone through and we know everything we should by now.. it’s a life of patience and diligent service to humanity and to Nigeria! It will never be a straight and clean journey.. many of us might die on the way.. many of us might make general and many of us will retire peacefully Insha allah.. but we know what we are getting into.. except for those that just came because they need a job, i don’t think any of the OG’s here don’t know what they are getting into now..
The truth for some of us is that’s the only career we’d find fulfillment.. I have a very good remote job and I work my own hours.. I get paid well and I’m doing very well for myself .. the same with many other people here.. I know of Quadril and jeralj.. good jobs but if we don’t get an opportunity to serve, it’s most likely be a life of disappointment for me ooo.. I don’t know about them.. we know! We are ready!

Does this mean you won’t continue with your application doe?

Are you insinuating that IPOB members are in the army? If the authorities bring you in for questioning can you point out the members of IPOB you said are in the army?
No problem moving forward we shouldn't be tempted to make wide sweeping generalisation. All Igbos are not members of IPOB, just like how not all Yorubas are members of OPC, or all Kanuris ISWAP/Bokoharam.

Brace up potential cadets. Shortlist is being uploaded as I type this. We may have access to it by tomorrow or next.
Meanwhile, just a word of encouragement, the Nigeria army, just like every other armed force is interested in passionate people more than "lucky people". Therefore if paraventure your name was intentionally omitted from the list, don't be discouraged, rather take the bold step of attending the screening if you can. My boss told me last night that more than 10% of the serving personnel in SSC weren't shortlisted during their times but because more than 5% of shortlisted candidates each year never showed up for screening that candidates that came uninvited are sometimes screened and in some cases they are selected. So if you don't see your name when we start checking and you have the resources to attend the screening, please do. Ones more, I wish all of success.

Bro, from what I heard from a reliable source. I think the exam is no longer taking place because of some unforseen circumstances. I heard that logistics wasn't totally taken care of. Also time is not totally at their disposal. But he said something can still change at the "die minute" na naija we dey na.
