The first picture is the current Attah of Igala. The second pic is an Eze Nri of Oraeri.

That image is not a Benin thing. It was issued by the ancient Eze Nris to kings within the Nri cultural sphere. Attahs of Igala received it from Eze Nri in Agukwu. Oba of Benin received it from the Eze Nri in Agukwu. The Eze Nri in Oraeri also received one, on their coronation.

According to archaeological finds, Oraeri is far older than Benin. Oraeri is perhaps the same age as (or possibly older than) Igodomigodo

The simple truth is that beyond fabricated stories, none of you (Yoruba and Igbo) can provide any evidence or cite any written historical documents of 150 years old that mentioned Nri, Ife, Yoruba and Igbo. These names and the stories attached to them as history can't be backed up by concrete evidence.

Benin has it's history documented for over 600 years.

Ancient maps show the area now referred to as Yoruba and Igbo land were under the old Benin kingdom not the other way round like you later day revisionist would want the world to believe. Unfortunately for you guys Benin history is too well documented for you to be able to change it.

Today's Igbo and Yoruba land were all under Benin kingdom, that is the simple truth, the truth can't be changed, history has documented it so. Learn to live with it.

Igbo matter is civil war syndrome. 50 years after end of war, 9ja looks bleak. More and more Igbo youth are playing spoiler with anything Nigeria. Some like you now constitute a nuisance like a noisy neighbour.

Causing disaffection among others won't help Igbo unity. Igbo must unite among themselves to be taken seriously.

Not every autonomous community rushing to Aso Rock or any political office holder to claim to represent all Igbo. Eze Ndigbo in every street in every town in 9ja is also not unity.

Admittedly, unity is elusive almost throughout Nigeria.

A man's enemy is from his own household. Igbo, like other tribes has too many traitors within. If Igbo truly unite, they can achieve Aburi Accord as a reality.

Igbo marginalisation since Biafra war should have galvanised Igbo to press their case resolutely with one voice.

Here is the truth many Igbo privately admit. Igbos cannot do without Nigeria. They admit that they have spread too much across 9ja and invested too much across 9ja to breakaway. Igbo land has too little "Lebensraum" to around 10 to 15 million or more Igbo outside of SE.

Breakaway Biafra and peaceful continued Igbo spread throughout 9ja is not possible. At least not short to medium term.

I love Igbos .... without my mom being Igbo, I would never have been bold, beautiful and intelligent, this is the reason I adore and would fight for them any day.
