Do you expect all of them to pass. Morover, examination is not the best test of knowledge. VC work is not about "someone who sabi book" but knowledge, intellectualism and wisdom.

What is wrong with teaching with Hausa language? Your statement reeks of racial inferiority complex. Perhaps you don't know that, if the then Sokoto Sultanate had colonized Great Britain, the latter would be speaking Hausa now.

They weren't Smart Profs. These types have no reasonable papers in high impact factor journals. I won't be surprised if their professorship was given just to increase the number of professors in their various departments to ensure their departments scale NUC accreditation. These ones retire from the university without presenting any inaugural lecture. They only want to be VCs to loot and have a chance to announce elections results as returning officers.

Its really disheartening to know that some people are second class in their own state.If you know the history of Benue state well you will know that since 1999 till date,no idoma man have smelt the government house.

Even common VC of a university is not an option.
The governor is using government money to built structures for a particular traditional leader,ignoring another.

My point is there should be a fair share in distribution of social amenities and political appointments in a state.Civil service inclusive.

A professor is a professor in a particular area of study: not in all fields. For instance, if a professor of Physics sets questions for a professor of Philosophy, the Professor of Philosophy is likely to fail woefully. The same thing will happen when the Professor of Philosophy sets questions for that of Physics.

I remember vividly well when an Idoma Prof in the department of Geography was denied HOD when he was the most qualified in the department. To the glory of God, He's currently the Head of a faculty in Uni Jos. He resigned from BSU.

Your name defines your type of person already. You never did social studies in primary and junior secondary school. Hausa isn't used in any of the schools within Benue State. Not even the tertiary institutions. So, next time get it right before you start flying around like a pig.

Writing exams for the positions of VC is good when all were qualified , its just means to streamline the number to 3.

Stop being naive. Teaching in Hausa or any local language is not bad on it's own, depending on the subject. Whatever be the case, we should stop subjecting our languages and culture as being inferior and second class. Whatever language one uses to teach is not bad so long as the intended message has been passed and the listener understands what he or she is being taught.

This does not really make sense. Setting exams for 20 years experience and 3 years experience VC. The question cannot tally based on their experience naaw. To all those who failed, i don't consider them failed. I consider them cunningly removed.

The Professors who even wrote the exam don't know their worth @ all.
I doubt if they know what they Profess in the first place.
